I get site visits but no sales, my only sale is from myself testing the website. Im wondering if its something to do with my site layout, or my target audience.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

The site is: teyvatrelics.com

We specialize in selling collectables for a video game.

Have you acquired the right traffic?

How long are they staying on the site (time on site)?

Are they interested in your products (how many pages per visit)?

Are they browsing around?

Most of my traffic is from instagram where i advertise my website organically

Is there a chance that most of the traffic is bots or myself?

Don't take this as a serious advice, I'm not really qualified in marketing, but I do play videogames. And the question I want to ask is: do you use social media to promote your store? I can't find any link to them on your site, and this feels odd if your target audience is gamers, since they would spend a lot of time on social media like Twitter. Although I think Instagram seems like a pretty good front for the types of items you sell. That's the only thing I can think of, even Reddit can be a good promotion channel.

Addendum: I searched your brand "teyvat relics" and you do have an Instagram page, but not many followers. Honestly, for your target audience, getting viral on TikTok or something might be the way to go. How to do that however is not something I can help you with. Good luck any way.

Hey @Lisited,

I do see some major problems right off the bat. Your store is unique (you sell collectables) but your store design isn't. When I land on your website, I am bombarded with products (you can open any shopify store and all the product catalogs section look the same) because they were made on the same base theme with same functionality and design options. You aren't any different. A plain white minimal store with no personality.

I am a marketer with 4+ years of experience in copywriting etc and I know this. Take my advice, put some good hero banners, some good, persuasive and high converting headings and taglines, some high quality pictures with rich background (not your usual product images). Make your 1st impression count. Make your store pop.

Here is what I would recommend you do. Go to Canva, create a new design (select website design), spend good 20 minutes putting images, texts, graphics, animations etc. in it until you think it looks good. Play around with font styles etc. Now bring it to Shopify using Canvify app. Themes are always going to limit you down and every other store is going to have the same style.

Infact, take a look at these templates first to realize limitless possibilities of designing sections or even whole pages with Canva.

If you are confused about what I am talking about, watching this video will help as well.

Let me know if you need further guidance etc.

Best,
Abdullah

Hi, thank you for your advice. I used canva to make the landing page of my website appeal and look familiar to my target audience. Im not sure how to use canva for anything other than the hero banner though.  Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Hey @Lisited,

You can use Canva literally for anything. I would suggest putting in thought on how you can better personalize your product pages as well. You can design complete product pages in Canva (and hyperlink the add to cart and buy now buttons), or you can design sections to be put right under the product pages etc. You can design complete pages (not just hero banners).

The best use for me was animations. Canva has a huge library of graphics, fonts and animations etc and they all become live on Shopify as well which is the best part. Utilize all this to make your store pop. Shopify developers are super expensive but Canva designers aren't. You can even hire someone in less than $20-$30 to help you out with your designs.

See this section for all concerns regarding Canvify app and Canva designs: https://canvify.app/docs

Hi @Lisited

it's wonderful to see your passion for video game collectibles shine through, especially with that Genshin Impact vibe!

Here are some my recommendations for you:
1. Ensure that your marketing campaign reaches out to Genshin Impact players, as products are designed specifically for their use. Joining forums, social media groups,
2. Implement SEO audit tools like SEOptimer or Ahrefs' Site Audit to identify and address any technical issues that might affect site performance and user experience.
3. Utilize tools like Google Analytics to monitor visitor activity and identify drop-offs or pages with high exit rates. This kind of information may identify improvement areas.
