You must add logo for your store

Your store is missing legal pages: Shipping & Return policy, Terms of Services, Privacy policy, Refund policy,..

You must purchase your own domain

If you've been running a merchandise website for your podcast for two months but haven't made any sales yet, there are several strategies you can consider to improve your results:

  1. Improve your website's design and user experience: Ensure that your website is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and provides a seamless shopping experience. Optimize your product pages with clear product descriptions, high-quality images, and compelling calls-to-action.

  2. Enhance product visibility and promotion: Increase the visibility of your merchandise by promoting it across various channels. Leverage social media platforms, including your podcast's social media accounts, to showcase your products and engage with your audience. Consider running targeted ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Google Ads to reach a broader audience.

  3. Provide incentives and offers: Encourage potential customers to make a purchase by offering incentives such as discounts, limited-time promotions, or freebies with purchases. Create a sense of urgency and exclusivity to drive conversions.

  4. Leverage your podcast audience: Leverage your podcast listeners by promoting your merchandise during your episodes. Encourage listeners to visit your website and make a purchase. Consider providing special offers exclusively for your podcast audience to incentivize them further.

  5. Engage with your audience: Foster a sense of community around your podcast and merchandise by actively engaging with your audience. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly. Encourage customer reviews and testimonials to build trust and social proof.

Hi @ClimbBookshelf ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store. Your store is quite simple. I have just some small things I'd suggest for your Homepage for a better chance of gaining sales. May it help!
1. Add a favicon to your store
A favicon will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. Please take a look at this article from Shopify https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon

2. Add your header/ menu
A sticky header helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. You see, when you scroll down, there is no quick way to come back to your menu, especially on mobile. You do not have an anchor button to “Back to the top”, making it very inconvenient for customers to go back to your menu and see other pages, products, etc.

3. Add a hero banner
The banner is an important material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.

The homepage should clearly communicate the unique value proposition of the products being sold. Currently, the headline and introductory text do not provide a clear understanding of what the website offers. Consider refining the messaging to highlight the key benefits and unique features of the products, focusing on what sets them apart from competitors.

4. Add a Product presentation

The product images and descriptions could be enhanced to provide a more compelling presentation. Currently, the product images are small and could benefit from larger, high-quality visuals that showcase the products from different angles or in use. Additionally, consider providing more detailed descriptions that highlight the key features, specifications, and benefits of each product. This can help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

5. Add testimonials - customer reviews
Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. A page builder app, like Shogun, PageFly,... allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in an easy way.

Furthermore, with Father's Day just around the corner, it's an opportune time to enhance your store's conversion rate. You can consider having:

  • Offer exclusive discounts: Utilize a countdown timer element to showcase Limited-time Promotions, creating a sense of urgency among customers. Highlight the time-sensitive nature of these offers to encourage immediate purchases for Father's Day.
  • Offer personalized gift options: Provide customers with the opportunity to personalize gifts by offering options like monograms, engraving, or custom messages. Emphasize this feature in your marketing materials to attract customers looking for unique and heartfelt presents tailored to their dad's preferences.
  • Curate gift sets: Create specially curated Father's Day gift sets or bundles that feature your skincare products. Showcase the value and convenience of these pre-packaged gift options, making it easier for customers to find ready-made gifts that are both practical and thoughtful.

Hi @ClimbBookshelf ,

I'm so glad that my suggestions can be your solution. Which items do you want to apply and can't customize? Please share it here and I try to help within my ability.

Besides, I think you can contact Shopify or the theme support team for more checking and guidance. I tried the Dawn theme from Shopify or some free themes, they still can create a pretty menu and hero banner. If you want to have more customize on your page which your current theme doesn't support, you can consider using a page builder app, like PageFly, Shogun, GemPages,...

Please let me know if it works by giving it a Like or marking it as a solution!
