Staff Permissions for the admin login or back office gift cards

I am wondering if we can request for certain features in Shopify like here where the gift card permission groups together the ability to create, view, and delete. I would like to make it so that employees can just view them, so if a customer comes in asking their balance they can look it up like I can in the admin. screenshot to show linked permissions under gift card.

As of September 16, 2024, Shopify introduced more granular staff permissions for gift cards, allowing you to assign specific capabilities to your employees:

• View: Allows staff to view gift cards.
• Create and edit: Allows staff to create and edit gift cards.
• Export: Allows staff to export gift cards to a CSV file.
• Deactivate: Allows staff to deactivate gift cards.

With these options, you can grant employees the ability to view gift cards—enabling them to check balances for customers—without permitting them to create or delete gift cards: Shopify Changelog

To adjust these permissions:

1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
2. Navigate to Settings > Users and permissions.

4. In the Gift cards section, check the View permission and uncheck the others as needed: https://prnt.sc/cA9uJN-bgH-a
5. Save your changes.

This configuration ensures that staff can assist customers with gift card inquiries without having access to modify or delete gift cards.
