This is my first time here! I would like to receive advice or recommendations of my store I launched two days ago; What is it that I need to fix or work on?

Welcome to the Community and welcome to Shopify! Definitely a great place to gather some input regarding the platform as we have a great group of contributors who are willing to share their experiences and expertise regarding Shopify! As you can see, @Aztech already provided such a great response to your thread.


How long have you been working on this store because it looks amazing! For a store that's recently launched, I applaud you for putting out such a quality-looking website/store but beyond that, to create a business with such great values and thought, truly a job well-done! 


I personally would love all these pieces of clothing you have created and I'm not just saying that as a fellow Illinois native. The aesthetic of your brand will definitely find its audience and I look forward to the growth that your business will have. 


As for some store feedback, besides my praises, I have also tried the functionality of your site: from the social media links to the navigation menu, all is working as it should. 


For some things to work on, I would recommend building more on your brand. Perhaps creating your own product photos to showcase the apparel further. The social media channels you have linked are definitely great tools to use at your disposal to further establish your brand identity. I have attached a great blog post from us regarding branding. As mentioned above, I truly appreciate what you have expressed about how this company/idea came about on top of the values you are promoting, this is definitely something you can use to promote and further market your store.

Your store sells clothing, so the item's dimensions are very important, but I don't find it on your product page.

2) Allow customers to submit reviews on your products.

It's PageFly - Best Page Builder App here and I'd like to share some of my initial thoughts when first browsing through your online store. I hope that my recommendations based on 6 years of providing solutions for more than 100.000 merchants can be beneficial to you in improving your store performance. 


Your store looks really impressive from the first touch. If possible, I have a few more comments to make your pages even better:


1. Footer

1.1. Menu

There is a blank space on the right side of the footer, which make it less well-aligned. You may want to recheck the proportion for each menu item in the footer.


Also, you can add more information like Store logo and store description to take on the blank space




1.2. Payment

The payment unit is appearing twice, which can be quite confusing to look at at first. You may want to remove the second one.

Also, the logos for payment method is left-aligned, while the layout is center-aligned. I believe these logos should be center-aligned as well.




2. Home page 


Sections on the home page is well designed; however there is only 1 section where customers can go shopping (Collection list). This makes the store less attractive to the customers who want to purchase.


To give diverse content to your home page, you can consider adding

  • Product list to show your latest products and on-sale deal. Your page should have at least 2 product list
  • Best-selling product to drive sale and attract attention
  • Features and benefits showing the advantages of shopping on your store
  • Blog Posts showing guides, tips and tricks
  • Testimonials to be more trustworthy
  • Newsletter form for easily getting in touch
  • ….

3. Product page

For apparel products, it will be more professional to use a color swatch instead of variant badge like this. A color swatch will help customers visualize about the product color better.




Just a side note, in case the theme does not support color swatch, you can try our Option Swatch for Product Variant element. This feature is available on  PageFly Page Builder, even on a free plan.
