Hi @luke01, I'm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.

Congrats on your new store! The website looks clean & elegant in general. But from my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to give you some suggestions for store design to make it more stunning and help you get more engagement & increase sales.

1. Add Favicon logo

Favicon is the small logo that typically appears in a browser tab, and I've highlighted it in the screenshot below. It’s important especially with new sites because favicon logos can improve the user experience by making it easier for visitors to identify your site when they have multiple tabs open in their browser. It also makes bookmarking and navigating to your site more intuitive.

2. Homepage

2.2 About Us section

We cater to humanistic shoppers, who will seek out who is BEHIND the product, and why they should buy from you. So consider adding an About Us section to introduce your brand.

I can see that you have an About Us page already but adding a separate section on your homepage would help visitors easy to read without having to navigate to another page. It would improve the user experience in general.

For example:

2.3 Key USPs section with key icons

Your current homepage lacks key information about products. It may increase the bouncing rate as users don't find important content they need. Helpful, easy-to-see benefits icons quickly introduce your products' unique selling points, giving a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition.

PageFlyKate_2-1715826940270.png

2.4 Testimonial section

Testimonials are an important touch point especially with first time visitors. I understand your store is new but you still should consider adding a section on your homepage to showcase it. Remember to add customer avatars & star rating to increase authenticity to testimonials, making them more credible. Customers viewing testimonials can relate to individuals who resemble them in terms of age, gender, or appearance, increasing the likelihood of conversion.

2.5 Improve your first product showcase

  • Showcase products that well represent your brand

From your hero banner, visitors may expect to keep exploring the products you’re offering. In this case you should showcase key jewelry products instead of brooches & pins as it may cause confusing feelings for customers.

For example,

PageFlyKate_4-1715826939010.png

  • Add secondary hover on image for your product display

I see you have added a secondary hover on image on your collection page, consider adding it for product display on your homepage as well. Instead of a single static image, it would be better to show more how they look on human or unique details/patterns of them, which can increase the likelihood of making a purchase.

3. Product page

3.1 Optimize product description display

Your product description is very text-heavy. Consider compressing it into accordions / content tab (collapsible content tabs) so that your product pages look better-structured & the shoppers' experience is enhanced.

PageFlyKate_5-1715826939115.png

Also, with a short description, consider putting it before the ATC button, it may help to improve your conversion rate. When you make it inspired enough, it may have an impact in the buying decision of visitors.

3.2 Add reviews to product page

Again, don't forget reviews are essential to the shopping experience. You should add a testimonial section to build trust for your products' quality. If there are not enough rating stars, consider using text & images to showcase feedback of your first orders.

3.3 Make ATC button & price information in unique & prominent styling

It's important to highlight the key information like the price and call to action. Adding other styling like bold, italic, using different color and font size to the price and mouse over state for ATC button to make them more noticeable.

Hi,
I am piloting a tool to do detailed Website Content Audits for landing Pages (https://www.saleso.ai/product/website-content-feedback-tool ). As a part of that, generated a detailed report for your page here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qAVGhUMksCEUz9lcK4Wfbfgug5vvByge/view?usp=sharing. If that is cumbersome, you can also find a summary here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/17WjMnyHJHxxNj9UVCrXQzfbo1NJcf-be/view?usp=sharing. Hope this is useful to you. If possible, do give me feedback on it.

Hello @luke01

Hope everything is going well for you.

I have checked your store and below are some suggestions.

1. Home Page

  • Your store logo should be smaller.

image.png

  • This line is to be highlighted.

image.png

2. Footer section:

  • This section must be properly designed. It offers visitors easy access to a few pages, such as Blogs, FAQs, and social media links, such as LinkedIn,  Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Align it correctly and make sections in the correct size(width).

3. On the Blog page

  • Do some internal or external linking to increase marketing and sales.

4. Product Page

  • Add Product Ratings: When ordering a product, consumers often check ratings, reviews, and feedback.
  • Add a product description section like the one below.

The points above will help you make your store visible to visitors, generate more sales, and provide a good user experience.

Hi @luke01,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Customer Support and Helpdesk Solution for your Start-up

Congratulations on your new store! I can see you have put a lot of effort into it. While it's already great, I do have some suggestions to help make it even better. Here are a few of my recommendations for a better customer experience, if you don't mind taking a look.

1. Header

Make the header sticky: Implement a sticky header that remains fixed at the top of the screen as users scroll down the page. Not only does it highlight important navigation options but also helps your customers navigate easily.

I suggest making the logo a bit smaller, so that when you freeze the header, the navigation bar would look more visual appealing

2. Product page

Add more product images: I can see that you are displaying 1-2 pictures of the product. However, it’s not enough to showcase all of the prominent features, especially when you are selling accessories.

I suggest adding at least 3 types of product images:

  • Images that show products being worn by a model
  • Images that highlight a product’s features: Feature Callout images (highlight specific components/characteristics of a product that users will find valuable; use cases)
  • 3-5 Images that show products from at least a few different angles

A wonderful example looks like this:

ok.webp

3. Use pop-up banners

One practical tip to drive more sales for your store is by showing special offers and promotions on pop-ups. However, here are some tips I hope you keep in mind:

  • Don't make it too difficult for visitors to close the pop-up.
  • Don't show the same pop-up to the same visitor too often.

So those are some of my suggestions for your store as an UX expert. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a 'LIKE'. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

As an expert/enthusiast in UX, I recommend implementing these changes to improve customer experience when scrolling through your store.

If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a 'LIKE'. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

Thank you for reading. Wish you a nice day ahead!
