Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi Everyone: Hoping for some feedback on my store and conversion advice feedback.
Most of my visits come in through blog pages, so if you also have some blog page advice I'd appreciate it.
My URL is Claribelskincare.com.
Thank you!
Hi @JeanetteQuillen! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
I took a good look at your website, and it’s fantastic! Here are a few personal suggestions that might help make it even better:
1. The hero banner image is a bit blurry, and the background patterns seem to overshadow the main product. You could adjust the image to make the product stand out more while keeping the patterns as subtle decorations. This will help customers focus on what they’re really interested in.
2. The discount codes aren’t standing out as much as they could—they blend in like regular text. Making them pop with color, typography, or related illustrations would make them easier for customers to spot. Adding an “Apply Now” button right next to the code could also be handy, letting customers apply it directly to the products they want.
3. In the blog section, the font for the headings is a bit hard to read. Since blogs are typically text-heavy, using simpler fonts could improve readability, making it easier for customers to identify headings and follow along.
4. For the blog posts, adding some images alongside the text might be helpful. This would make it easier for customers to scan for the information they’re interested in and dive into what catches their eye.
Hope these suggestions help enhance your website. Best of luck!

Hey JeanetteQuillen,
Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!
Your website looks promising, and I can tell you’ve put effort into it. Here are a few tips to increase conversions and optimize your site further:
Clear Value Proposition: Ensure that your homepage clearly communicates what sets Claribel Skincare apart from competitors. Visitors should immediately know what your brand stands for and why they should choose your products.
Product Pages & Descriptions: Make sure each product page has detailed, benefits-driven descriptions. You want to highlight not just what the product is but how it will improve the customer’s skincare routine. High-quality images and customer reviews (which Gameball can help encourage through rewards) are also essential to build trust.
Social Proof: Reviews and testimonials can make a huge difference in converting visitors into buyers. Consider integrating a system to collect and display these more prominently, especially on product pages. You can use Gameball to reward customers for leaving reviews, help give them a little nudge in the right direction to help build trust.
Blog Optimization: It’s great that your traffic comes through blog pages! To maximize this, try making your blog posts more engaging with clear CTAs (calls-to-action) guiding readers to your product pages. For example, after discussing the benefits of certain ingredients in your blog, link those directly to relevant products.
Speed & Mobile Optimization: Ensure the site loads quickly and looks great on mobile. Most people browse on their phones, so optimizing for mobile is crucial to avoid losing potential customers.
Gameball Integration: Since you’re using a blog to drive traffic, consider using Gameball to reward customers for actions like sharing content, signing up for newsletters, or purchasing through referral links. This adds an incentive layer that can boost customer loyalty and repeat sales.
If you focus on improving these areas, you should see an improvement in conversions. Keep optimizing your approach, and you’ll get closer to the results you're hoping for!
Best of luck with your store! Let me know if you need more insights!
Hello there @JeanetteQuillen I’d say you add categories for newest products and best sellers. It would also do your store a world of good if you include customer reviews on the homepage. Most people would prefer to only buy skincare products that appear to be tested and trusted.
Hi @JeanetteQuillen,
This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.
Your website is beautifully designed and elegant. It's clear that you've put a lot of thought and effort into creating a great online presence.
From my experience, I noticed a few things that could be improved on your website.
1. Add “Call to action” button to the banner
A well-placed CTA button on the banner immediately grabs attention and guides visitors to take action. By placing it on the banner, you direct customers' focus toward the main action you want them to take, such as "Shop Now," "Learn More," or "Add to Cart."
2. Add “Add to cart” button
When customers see an easy "Add to Cart" option, they’re more likely to make impulsive decisions, especially for products with attractive prices, discounts, or popular appeal. The convenience of adding items without navigating through multiple pages increases the chance of quick, spontaneous purchases.
3. Add testimonial - customer reviews
Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online.
You can check this image for reference:
4. Redesign Subscribe button
The current button has a border radius on the left but not on the right, so we should standardize the button design to make it look more professional
That's all of my feedback. Hope it helps to increase your conversion rate.
Cheers,
Kate | PageFly team

Hey @JeanetteQuillen , this is Alexis from Akohub. I just checked out your store, and it looks awesome. You’ve got that clean, earthy vibe down, which fits perfectly with the vegan, cruelty-free focus. I could see why people are drawn to your blog, especially those skincare fans that are all about that kind of thoughtful, ingredient-focused content. The real trick is getting those readers to make the leap from blog visitors to buyers, so here are a few ideas that might help!
One thing that can work well, especially with blog-driven traffic, is retargeting. Since your audience is already engaging with your blog, retargeting ads can be a gentle nudge for people who might be interested but aren’t quite ready to buy on the first visit. Something like Ako Retargeting could help keep your brand in their minds by showing them products they’ve browsed or content that’s related to what they’ve read. It’s less about hard selling and more about reminding them you’re there when they’re ready. That way, all the effort you’ve put into those blog articles pays off a little more.
Another idea is adding a loyalty program, especially if you’re trying to build a community around your brand. Our app, Ako Loyalty, could offer points for things beyond purchases, like signing up, sharing content, or even reading certain blog posts. The nice thing is, loyalty programs give people a reason to stick around and build that connection. When people know they’ll get rewarded, they’re more likely to keep coming back. It's kind of like a gentle nudge without being pushy. Plus, loyalty points are great for turning occasional buyers into regulars, especially with skincare where they might need refills.
And since you mentioned most of your traffic comes from the blog, I’d definitely make the most of that by adding internal links from blog posts to related products. It’s an easy, non-intrusive way to guide people from reading to shopping. Like, if someone’s reading a post about hydration tips, link them to your hydrating creams so they can check them out if they’re interested. A subtle call-to-action at the end of each post can also help, maybe something like, “Explore our top products for hydrated skin,” so it feels more like a suggestion than a pitch.
Lastly, having customer reviews or user-generated content on your product pages can go a long way, especially for first-time visitors. Seeing that others have had a good experience with your products adds some credibility and can help hesitant buyers feel more confident about trying something new.
Overall, it sounds like you’re on the right track. Just a few tweaks to make it easier for people to go from reading to buying, and you’re set. Good luck, and would love to hear how it goes!
