Hi,

If you want to have a higher Average Order Value, you can use an app to gamify order sizes.

X Away From Free Shipping encourages shoppers to add more items to their cart to qualify for free shipping

At the same time, I noticed that most of the items on the home page are sold out. You might want to change those out for products that are in stock.

Then, I don't understand what you're selling. You could add some information about your products on the home page to give people a better understanding.

Its a shop selling collectable card games. iv added information now to the home page.

Im fine with the free local shipping, im still small and new, and its seems like everyone of these apps all require you to pay for it.

Im sure i can mess around with chat gpt and eventually get it done for free.

The shop isnt launched yet, so there is no product yet to sell, its all place holder

Hi @Orunitor ! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

I couldn’t access the link you posted, so I’ll just share my feedback through screenshots.

From my perspective, as someone new to this, it might be a bit tough to give feedback that you can apply right away. I’d recommend starting by researching stores in the same industry as yours. Take some time to "learn from them" and use them as a reference to create an initial version of your store. Once you have that, you can think about customizing the site to reflect your personal style and make it more unique. This approach can make the process easier.

You can also get inspiration from larger Shopify stores in different ways—check out YouTube, Twitter, blogs, and so on.

Additionally, I’d suggest adding more details to your homepage, like collections, information about your store to build trust with customers, and content related to the products or niche you plan to sell.

I hope my suggestions help! Best of luck to you!

If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty  a 'LIKE' or marking it as a 'SOLUTION'. 😊

Cheers,

Hi @Orunitor

We appreciate your inquiry in the Shopify Community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.

I have accessed your new link: https://3f7b0xefnpdi15sv-66650144918.shopifypreview.com/. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. Especially the introduction and value proposition on the Homepage is really enthusiastic and inspirational.

However, I have some comments to boost conversion rates. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

  1. Modify CTA link on banner

It is so nice that you have already added a CTA link onto your banner. Yet, the link click directs me to the News & Updates section while it would be better off directing customers to the purchase with sales for conversion boost. Therefore, my suggestion is to change the CTA link to your product purchase that are on discount.

2. Add more images & details to product

Games are mainly about visual & dynamics so the efforts into visual illustrations & function explanation should be necessary. I suggest that you put more images & details of products on Product page.

3. Divide the big block on Homepage into separate parts with more illustrations

I can see that you really understand your brand’s strengths & value proposition and want to deliver them through Homepage, which is really nice. However, due to its significance, I recommend dividing these into separate parts with more illustrations.

4. Add on testimonials and ratings

I understand that your products now might be not having enough testimonials/ratings to show in the Product Page. But yeah later, I would recommend to have distinct comments/feedbacks for only that product in each Product Page.

5. Add CTA right to the final section

The section “Ready to explore” is indeed suitable for strong CTA with a button click for purchasing or trialing.

6. Refine the word size

When visiting the page "Accessories”, I find the font size kinda overwhelming, which hinders me from swiping more to see the lower parts.

7. Add live chat & FAQ

I can see that your website lacks a help widget - live chat and FAQ feature to allow customers to contact you immediately. How about having a powerful live chat to assist potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time? This can help prevent abandonment and encourage purchases

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE Live Chat, WhatsApp & FAQ App. You can easily reach customer support via WhatsApp, ensuring immediate assistance for inquiries. Also, the widget provide multi self-Service options such as Order tracking, Translation and FAQ section empower customers to resolve common questions on their own, reducing the need for direct support.

Once again, keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Hi @Orunitor

First off, welcome to Shopify and the world of creating your own store—especially for something as exciting as selling CCGs (Collectible Card Games)! It’s always fun to see people dive into something they’re passionate about, and I think you’re on the right track.

I took a look at your preview link (great job sharing that, by the way). I think you've got a solid foundation here, but let me share a few thoughts to help you refine things as you go along:

  1. Theme and Layout:
The overall look of your store feels clean, which is great! But if you’re focusing on CCGs, consider adding some elements that scream "cards"—like themed graphics, a bold banner image with popular cards/characters, or a fun color scheme that matches the vibe of your products. Right now, it’s functional but could use a bit more personality.
  2. Product Presentation:
Even if you’ve got placeholders here and there, make sure your product images pop! High-quality pictures are key for CCGs because collectors love to see the details. Try adding a mix of individual card images and maybe some shots of full packs or decks.
  3. Navigation & User Experience:
From what I saw, your menu is straightforward, which is great for beginners and casual shoppers. Just ensure that categories like “Decks,” “Single Cards,” or “Accessories” (if you plan to offer them) are easy to find. A quick-access “Search” bar and filters (e.g., by card type, rarity, or price) can also make a big difference.
  4. Placeholder Content:
I noticed a few placeholders, and that’s totally fine at this stage. Just make sure to clean those up before you go live—things like stock descriptions (“Lorem Ipsum”) or placeholder text can feel unpolished and might confuse visitors.
  5. About Page:
Adding a personal touch to your store can go a long way, especially since you’re new to this. Share your story—what made you want to start a store for CCGs, why you love the hobby, and how you plan to serve the community. People love supporting small businesses with a story behind them.
  6. Payment and Shipping:
If you haven’t already, make sure your payment options and shipping policies are crystal clear. CCG enthusiasts often buy from different locations, so offering flexible shipping (or at least communicating it well) can help you build trust early on.
  7. Test Everything:
Before you go live, double-check the links, buttons, and checkout process. Pretend to shop as a customer and see if everything flows smoothly. It’s one of those “better safe than sorry” steps that can save you from future headaches.

Overall, you’re off to a great start. Building a store for the first time can feel overwhelming, but it’s clear you’ve got a good handle on things. Just keep refining as you go—don’t stress too much about perfection upfront. Over time, you’ll figure out what works and what doesn’t.

If you need help with anything specific (like setting up apps, marketing tips, or design tweaks), feel free to reach out. I’m here to help whenever you need!

Best regards,
Daisy
