Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello Guys
I made my shop a few weeks ago and ran some ads campaigns past the last few weeks.
Overall I spent over 150$ on the ads but made 0 Sales. I had 180 add to Carts and 20 Checkout Sessions, but no Conversions. My checkout rate is 2% and the Checkout rate is 0.26%.
Can anyone help me to increase my conversion rate? And give me some feedback about my store, so I'll finaly get my first sale?
The page my ads lead to: lovegifts.ch/breathing-stich
It's designed for people who come from my tiktok ads to the page.

Hi @lovegifts,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. We are MooseDesk, a comprehensive Live Chat, FAQ & Helpdesk App designed to elevate your customer support experience.
Congrats on your store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.
1. Revamp Hero Section:
The hero banner is the first point of contact for customers, so it needs to be visually appealing and informative. Currently, the image doesn’t clearly represent what you’re selling, and the description doesn’t highlight your product’s unique selling points. Since customers can buy gifts anywhere, it's essential to capture their attention quickly, or they may leave the site.
2. Revamp Product Collection Page Layout:
The current layout requires extensive scrolling, which can be cumbersome for users. A more organized, user-friendly layout will help reduce bounce rates and improve customer experience. This is one of the pages I mention: breathing plush – Love Gifts
3. Improve CTA Buttons:
The content of your call-to-action (CTA) buttons should motivate users to click and explore further. Review the CTA buttons across your website to ensure they are compelling and encourage engagement.
4. Homepage Display:
Avoid showcasing individual products on the homepage. Instead, focus on elements that invite users to explore your full range of offerings.
Here is the section I mention:
5. Add Reviews/Testimonials Section:
A section for reviews or testimonials can build customer trust and improve purchase decisions. Positive feedback from others will enhance credibility and influence buying behavior.
6. Combine and Revamp the "Our Gift" and "Love" Sections:
These sections should be merged and redesigned to create a seamless user experience. A cleaner, more cohesive layout will keep customers engaged.
7. Footer Redesign:
The footer should include navigation links to important pages on your website, along with clear contact information. This reassures customers that your store is legitimate and improves navigation.
You can follow this example:
8. Revise Product Descriptions:
The product descriptions should provide enough detail for customers to make informed decisions. Ensure the information is clear, concise, and compelling to encourage purchases.
9. Add a Communication Widget and FAQ Page:
Including a communication widget for real-time support and a comprehensive FAQ page will enhance customer service and help resolve potential concerns efficiently.

Hey there @lovegifts Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe I’ve come across your store recently on here already? I think my advice to you on this would be to set sections on the homepage for best sellers and latest arrivals. It would also be nice to see a few FAQs on the homepage to share a bit more info on your products
Hi @lovegifts, congrats on launching the new store!
I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
First off, I have to say, you’ve got some really unique gift ideas here! It’s clear you’ve put thought into offering products that stand out. With a little fine-tuning, I think your store has the potential to connect with the right shoppers and turn visitors into loyal customers. Here are a few suggestions from a product executive perspective to help you along the way:
1. Feedback for your homepage
Firstly, you should make it crystal clear who your gifts are perfect for and why customers should choose them. Mention key gifting occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) and highlight who each product would suit best – this makes it easier for shoppers to picture the perfect gift and feel more confident about buying.
Secondly, the product images are nice, but they look a bit dated, almost like they were taken in 2012-2014. Since your products could fit on places like Amazon or AliExpress, you’ll want to make them look even more appealing with fresh, high-quality visuals that build trust. Also, think about what sets your store apart and highlight that – why should customers choose you instead of a larger marketplace, like Amazon or AliExpress, which offer extensive options, fast shipping, and built-in trust?
Thirdly, try not to repeat content unless it really adds value. In your homepage, the section below is repeated twice without adding any value information for your customers.
One minor thing is that saying “fast shipping” but taking 5+ days could leave the wrong impression. Instead, “free shipping” feels more realistic and still adds value without overselling.
2. Feedback for your collection page & product page
On the collection page, you can make browsing easier by shrinking the product blocks so more items fit on the screen. Adding an “add to cart” button right below each product will make it quicker for customers to shop without needing to click through multiple steps. You can take a look at the attached image for reference.
Another thing I believe you can improve is to display all products directly on the collection page instead of making visitors click several times to reach the details. A smoother browsing experience will help customers find what they want faster, making them more likely to buy.
With these small improvements, your store will feel much more user-friendly and engaging. You've got a great foundation with some really cool products – now it’s just about polishing it up a bit to help customers fall in love with what you’re offering. Keep up the good work, and I’m excited to see where your store goes!
If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a 'LIKE' or marking it as a 'SOLUTION'. 😊
Best,
Tracy from the BON Loyalty team

Hi @lovegifts
I checked out your store and carefully reviewed your situation—spending over $150 on ads, getting 180 add-to-carts and 20 checkout sessions, but still no sales. That’s frustrating, especially when you're seeing interest but no conversions. Based on what you described, the issue is likely happening in the checkout process or trust factors on your site. Here’s what you should focus on to turn those abandoned checkouts into actual sales:
Your checkout rate is 2%, but your actual conversion rate is 0.26%, which means a lot of people are hesitating at the final step. Here’s what might be causing it:
Since your traffic comes from TikTok, visitors likely don’t know your brand well, so trust-building elements are crucial:
Since people reached the checkout but didn’t complete their purchase, retarget them with:
Since you’re driving traffic from TikTok, make sure:
You’re already getting good traffic and interest, so you’re close to making sales—you just need to fine-tune your checkout experience and build trust. Try making these adjustments and track how they impact your conversion rate.
If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
