Feedback for your online store from the community
I need store feedback. Getting good visibility through FB ads but low conversion to sales. My audience is 40yrs+, mostly women. Not sure what I can improve to solve the conversion problem.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Katm1!
Low conversion rates can sometimes be influenced by a mix of factors, including design, so here are a few areas you could refine that might help improve the customer experience.
I noticed that some sections on the homepage feel a bit cramped due to limited white space. Adding more breathing room between sections can make the site feel more organised and user-friendly.
The large images on your homepage seem to lose some sharpness, particularly on desktop. Having clear images is crucial for building trust, especially since shoppers can only interact with your products online by viewing them.
I noticed the navigation bar elements are slightly off-centre. While it’s a small detail, having everything aligned gives a more polished and professional look. Clean, intuitive navigation is crucial for retaining users, and might just help increase conversions.
I hope this helps!

Hi @katm1,
I'm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App.
Generally, I love your store’s design, it looks classic but professional. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:
Having a sticky header significantly improves the ease of navigation for your customers.
Another thing you might care about is that the sticky header with the current logo might take huge space while scrolling. So I would like to suggest that you reduce the size of the logo and display all navigation buttons on the same row to save more space to showcase the products.
The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. You should use the banner which lets consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.
Unfortunately, the banner seems to focus more on the Halloween pumpkins rather than your products. That’s why I’d like to suggest you change it. The ideal hero banner would be your products in the center of the image but the background is still with Halloween theme.
Here is an example for you:
Alongside the visual elements, a hero section typically includes concise and impactful messaging. This can be a headline, a tagline, or a call to action that communicates the core value proposition, piques curiosity, or encourages visitors to take action.
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store. With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.
It’s such a loss when you missed a “Shop all” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.
It’s crucial to keep the styling of the headings, paragraphs, CTA buttons the same as it makes your store look more professional.
Some general tips that might help you improve your Facebook ad conversion rates for your target audience of women 40+:
By following these tips, you can improve your Facebook ad conversion rates and reach more of your target audience.
And that's my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.
Cheers!

Hello @katm1 I’ve looked through the store and I’m quite impressed. It feels like a lot of proper thought was put into building it. For the images, I think you can add a bit more variety in their presentation eg all the pictures seem to be taken quite close or zoomed (which I understand is to show the product up close) but I think it will be nice if some were zoomed out a bit more. This makes sense especially since each one represents a different kind of mood/vibe according to the write up (which is another thing that I really liked)

Hi @katm1,
I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
I’m truly impressed with your products – they all look so beautifully crafted with so much care and love. A small suggestion would be to include more lifestyle images in each product page to help customers visualize where your adorable weathervane ornaments could be placed. I noticed you have displayed those images at the homepage but from my experience, the most effective convert page is the product page. Also, consider sharing the meaning behind each Czech glass color—it could add an extra layer of value and help customers choose more easily. Adding ratings under each product might also boost trust and sales. You can take a look at the image below for reference.
Wishing you lots of success with these charming creations!
