Store Feedback
Would like feedback on UI if it seems reasonably modern, slick?
Does my theme fit?
Do my images seem to match together, should I fix anything?

Hey there
How are you doing?
Thanks for sharing your store! I took a look at the UI and overall theme, and I think you're off to a great start. Here’s my initial feedback:
1. UI/Design: The design feels clean and fairly modern, but there are a few areas that could benefit from more cohesion. For example, adding consistent font styles and button designs across all pages would improve the overall slickness.
2. Theme: Your theme fits well with your products, though some elements could be optimized for user experience. For example, the color scheme is bold but might be toned down slightly to make it easier on the eyes, especially for prolonged browsing.
3. Images: While your product images are good quality, they would be more impactful if the sizes and styles were consistent. A uniform layout across all products will help the store feel more polished and professional.
If you’d like, I can provide more detailed insights or help implement some of these changes to boost engagement and conversions. Let me know what you think!

Hi @Brian-A ,
I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app. Thank you for sharing your store with us. I appreciate the opportunity to review it. Here are my thoughts:
The strengths of your store:
- Clean Design: Your store has a clean and modern aesthetic that draws the eye. The layout is intuitive, making navigation straightforward for users.
- High-Quality Images: The product images are of excellent quality, showcasing your items effectively and providing a great first impression. This is crucial for engaging potential customers.
Some areas for Improvement:
1. UI/Design: While the design is modern, enhancing cohesion could elevate the overall experience:
- Font Consistency: I noticed variations in font styles across different sections. Standardizing to one or two fonts throughout will create a more unified look.
- Button Design: The buttons for "Shop All" and "Shop Sports" differ slightly in style and color. Aligning these to have a consistent design (color, border radius, shadow effects) will provide a more polished appearance.
2. Theme: Your theme aligns well with your product offerings, but consider:
- Color Scheme: The bold colors are eye-catching, but the contrast can be overwhelming. A softer palette or incorporating neutral shades could create a more comfortable browsing experience.
- Whitespace: Increasing whitespace around product images and text will enhance readability and give your layout a more spacious, modern feel.
3. Images: While your product images are high quality, consistency is vital:
- Image Sizes: Standardizing product images to uniform dimensions (e.g., 1200x1200 pixels) will create a harmonious grid layout and improve the overall aesthetic.
- Styling: Using a consistent background (e.g., white or light gray) will help products stand out. Consider adding lifestyle images to create an emotional connection with customers.
4. Favicon:
- Adding a favicon is an essential branding element. It enhances recognition and professionalism. A simple logo or an element representing your brand would suffice. Ensure it’s clear and recognizable even at small sizes (16x16 pixels).
5. Performance Analysis with Google Lighthouse:
To assess your website's performance, I used Google Lighthouse, a tool that evaluates various aspects of web applications, including performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO. The performance score from Lighthouse is a valuable indicator of how quickly your site loads and how well it performs in terms of user experience.
Your store’s performance score is currently 18, which suggests significant room for improvement. Here’s a breakdown of the key metrics from the Lighthouse report:
- First Contentful Paint (FCP): 4.0 seconds. This measures how long it takes for the first piece of content to appear on the screen. A longer FCP can lead to user frustration. To improve this, prioritize loading critical CSS for above-the-fold content and consider deferring non-essential styles.
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): 61.8 seconds. This metric reflects the loading time for the largest visible content element. Such a high value is concerning and may stem from slow server response times or unoptimized images. Implementing lazy loading for images below the fold and using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) can help reduce LCP.
- Total Blocking Time: 7,220 ms. This indicates how long the main thread was blocked, preventing user interactions. Analyzing your scripts for long-running tasks and optimizing them can significantly enhance performance. Consider breaking down large JavaScript files to load only essential code.
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS): 0.169. This measures visual stability; a lower score indicates fewer unexpected layout shifts. To improve this, ensure all images and ads have defined size attributes to reserve space in the layout, minimizing shifts during loading.
By addressing these specific areas, you can enhance your site's speed and overall user experience, leading to improved engagement and conversion rates. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to assist further with implementing these changes.
Looking forward to your thoughts!

Hi @Brian-A ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community! We're MooseDesk , your go-to Live Chat, WhatsApp and FAQ App here to help you enhance your customer support experience 😍
Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check:
- Featured Categories: Create a section showcasing key categories that link to their respective product pages.
- Curated Collections: Display only a selection of best-sellers or new arrivals per category. This reduces overwhelm while showing variety
- Personalized Recommendations: Sections like “Trending Now” or “Editor’s Picks” will personalize the experience and encourage users to browse.
Please refer to this example below:
Adding an "About Us" section to your homepage can build an emotional connection with your customers. By sharing your story and mission, you build trust, making visitors more likely to purchase from you. Include a CTA button that directs them to a detailed About Us page to further engage them
Consider adding a section on your homepage specifically for promotions. This ensures that customers don’t miss out on deals, which can encourage them to take advantage of the offers you provide.
6. Add a live chat support
Live chat assists potential customers instantly, addressing their questions or concerns in real time. This can prevent abandonment and encourage purchases
I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a free Live Chat, WhatsApp & FAQ App. MooseDesk provides auto-reply features during non-business hours, a proactive help center, and a user-friendly widget layout, offering an effective solution to enhance customer support on your platform.

Hi @Brian-A first things first, add in categories for best sellers and latest products at the top of the homepage.
It seems like there’s too much info placed on the homepage in my opinion and it might be a bit too much for customers to go through it all at once, so maybe consider putting only the main stuff there for now
You should create some space to include some detailed testimonials from customers.
I hope you find these helpful!
