Hello there!

I design swimsuits to be handmade in Brazil and sell them in my store.

they are made out of eco friendly and sustainable fabrics (the first of its kind), and price is apar with the industry/ segment.

I’d love to get some insight on what you think of the page, and functions added. I did it all myself and hired a company to work on my metafileds needed to consolidate items by style (that is why it looks like I only have 6 designs)

what would you recommend to help me convert more? Taking into consideration my target audience and buyer persona

thank you

Hi @Rioandbossa

Thanks for sharing! I just browsed through your store - I see you have done a good job designing your store, it works well on mobile, it's very easy to navigate from the homepage to checkout. The customer experience is good enough - well done! I guess you will now be focusing more on getting the right traffic and converting this traffic to sales, and retaining your customers.

I will recommend checking this marketing checklist from Shopify to help you align your marketing efforts with proven strategies that have worked for other merchants.

I do have some suggestions to improve the customer experience

1. I will suggest placing the main navigation menu on the header in the middle of the header - so it can align properly with the logo on the left and icons on the right.

collinsmbaka_0-1633540892035.png

2. Engage with your customers and visitors - I will suggest adding a Live chat, you want to reach out to your visitors and show that you're ready to answer any question they might have. You can have a Live chat that launched after 60 seconds of someone landing on your store that asks, “How can I help you today?”. The idea here is to engage and show your visitors that you're available to answer their questions.

3. Show Estimated Delivery Date and Shipping Date - Many customers don’t want to wait until checkout to know when they’ll receive their order, and showing the Estimated Delivery Date helps users to estimate when they can expect to receive their order. Add the delivery-date estimate, or delivery-date range, within the product page, it should be close to your "buy" button. When viewing an estimated delivery day like “Standard Shipping — 5 business days. Get it by Oct 12”, Your customers will have more confidence to make the purchase.

4. Add your customer reviews on the homepage and collections page - nothing builds trust like reviews and it is important to display on all sections of the store, not all customers will browse through to the product page and get to see the reviews. Some can start and end their journey on the homepage. So I think it is useful to also have the reviews on the homepage and on the collections page - you can have the star rating on the product grid.

As you add more products you'd need advanced filtering and search app to help your customers quickly search & filter what they need to lower bounce rates and convert more - A lot of merchants are using an advanced search and filtering app on their stores because it works - You can check out the Collection filter and search bar app by Sobooster used by 3000+ brands on Shopify to boost sales.

Best of luck and cheers!

Hi @Rioandbossa,

This is PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder. I would love to provide my advice for your store based on 6 years of providing solutions for about 100.000 active Shopify merchants.

Congratulations on your store! I have just taken a quick look at your website and I picked up some plus points are:

  • Have a favicon for your store - which makes your store look unique and professional.
  • Have a sticky menu: This helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the navigation bar anytime they want.

However, I would like to give you some suggestions about your store so that you could consider changing and hope that the conversion rate is increased accordingly.

1. Reorder the position of the favicon

You should move it to the left side. It could save some more space to display other parts when surfing your website.

PageFly_0-1633573606419.png

2. All CTA buttons should have the same styling

It is great that the featured image can describe what you are selling within the 5 first minutes of accessing your store.

As you might know, a primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store. With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, probably enhancing the conversion rates.

PageFly_1-1633573613471.png

At this part, you’ve done great to put an outstanding CTA button on this featured image. But please keep in mind that all CTA buttons should have the same styling to boost your conversion rate.

3. Display hover image for products/collections

It might be more ideal if you place the Product Price right on the page and add a hover state for the product image instead. I think it could make your customers more curious about the options you provide.

PageFly_2-1633573607520.png

Moreover, you should place an "Add to cart" button under each product. I bet you would have more clicks!

4. Highlight product prices

Not just in this section as I captured below but also in other parts, please make the price more dominant than the title by using another style for it

PageFly_3-1633573606371.png

5. Align the text evenly

Just a tiny mistake but I believe you care: There seems to be a redundant blank space in the right paragraph.

PageFly_4-1633573607289.png

6. Make the social section full width

I bet it would be more professional if you do so

PageFly_5-1633573607119.png

Last but not least, here are my other recommendations for you, feel free to consider them applied to your store:

  • Add testimonials section: It is of great importance because your brand trust can be enhanced. You can check this guide to pick the best reviews app for your store!
  • Display the ratings and the number of ratings as well under the product name to enhance your brand trust.

=> What helps you to build your store more easily, especially what helps you to build all options I comment on above is a page builder.

It would be a good choice for you to have professional sites that look incredible on mobile & desktop without any extra coding, and you will have lots more time focusing on marketing strategies, so you can consider checking PageFly.

If you feel my answer is helpful, please give it a LIKE. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers!

Hello @Rioandbossa

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

Add a favicon, which helps to find your store when customer had multiple tabs in their browser.

Make the sticky header bit smaller, so that rest of the page flows better.

Add Testimonials or reviews on the homepage to build trust with the visitors.

Improve blog posting, which will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales further. Improve your conversions by directly reaching those who close to your customers.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.

You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace, if you have any unique or Handmade product in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.

Thanks,

Hi @Rioandbossa, congratulation on good work.

I recommend including a sizing chart in the product description rather than as the last image in your product images, as it is a little difficult to read on mobile.

You can also add a trust badge below Add to cart button on the product page and Checkout button on the Cart page.

If your review app permits, please include images with your reviews, as a picture is worth a thousand words. Alternatively, you may add reviews with images to your product for free using the Ryviu app.

Hi @Rioandbossa

All-in-one marketing platform Growave is here. Congratulations on opening a new store and Welcome to Shopify. First of all, I would like to compliment your store design and visual appeal. You have done a great job. I would recommend you consider using more eCommerce marketing tools for better conversion rates. I hope my recommendations would help.

  • Implement Social Login

Social Login provides easier access to a customer's account and enables creating an account within one click through social media account. It simplifies the login process and enables one-click signup. You can let customers log in using their Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Yahoo, Tumblr, Instagram, or Amazon accounts. Also, gathered data through social login can be studied for customer retention and client analysis.

  • Add Favicon

Favicon adds legitimacy to your website and helps boost your online branding as well as trust from potential consumers. Favicons are an immediate visual marker for the website which enables easy and quick identification for webpage visitors especially when a lot of tabs are open.

  • Add Instagram gallery on your Shopify Store

Turn your Instagram content and user-generated content into a shoppable gallery and allow your customers to shop directly from the posts. Showcasing stunning shoppable Instagram galleries across your site will help to increase product discovery, drive inspiration, and boost sales. Link your profile on Instagram to the store and turn your profile visitors into customers. It will drive traffic to your site as well as to your profile. Just add your profile (you can choose which photos to display) to main menu.

  • Add Referral Program

Attach referral links in order to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that. Both sender and receiver can get points/discount/free delivery, etc. Try to gain new orders through existing customers. Through a referral program, you encourage your customers to help grow your brand community.

For adding the functions above you can use several apps. However, if you want to get all of them at affordable price, try  Growave.  We have 5 great features - Reviews, Wishlist, Rewards & Loyalty, Social Login, shoppable Instagram gallery on Shopify store under one dashboard. Test Growave during the free trial period to check whether it works for you.

Hello @Rioandbossa

Hope you are doing well.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.

  • It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types

Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product.

It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.

  • Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.

  • You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.

  • Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.

  • I see that your store doesn’t have a Favicon. Having a favicon on your website is crucial. It makes your site recognizable on browser tabs, but it too gives a professional look to your website.

Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!

Hi, @Rioandbossa

Thank you for reaching out in our Community Forums and I’m happy to hear that you recently launched your store.

Firstly, awesome job on designing and building your store. It looks like you have a lot of great options for your customers and your store design looks very polished. It’s great to see that you have your socials linked so that customers can view your social media accounts. Your product pages show the necessary information along with product reviews which naturally increases conversion.

Here are a few suggestions that you can easily add to your store to help with conversion:

  • In order to motivate your potential customers to make a purchase, I’d recommend introducing a discount or promotion for your products. This can be done in a variety of ways including, offering free shipping, a percentage discount, buy one get one half, etc. You can also advertise this by adding an announcement banner to your homepage. This would allow you to showcase the promotion and in term, help convert the sale.
  • The next suggestion would be to reorganize your menu bar to help with the navigational flow of your web page. To make it easier for your customers to browse your products, I’d recommend linking your “Swim” section directly to your products instead of collections. This way, customers won’t have to individually click on the collection and have a better chance of a product catching their attention. Check out our Help Center resource to learn more about how to change your menu items.
  • Another suggestion is to further update your home navigation to include a few extra sections, and move the Blog section to the footer. These should be chosen carefully as you want to guide the customer to what you want them to do most. If you’d like to add more tabs to your menu, I recommend adding a FAQ section to build more trust with your customers. You can also rename the About Us section to “Our Story” to have a more personalized approach and talk more about how you’re Eco-friendly and use sustainable fabrics. You can check out our blog on 'Writing an About Us Page' to add this to your store and learn more about the benefits.

I’d love to know more about your business. How is your current marketing strategy going with bringing customers to your product pages?
