- Add a call to action button on the banner image of the homepage.

- Add a call to action button on the announcement bar and make it clickable so customers can take an action on it.

- Add a review carousel on the homepage. It helps building trust with other visitors. 

Add a loyalty rewards program. Start giving loyalty points on activities like on signing up, allowing for push notifications, follow or share on social media, on birthdays, visiting a store, leaving a review. This will help you to entice your visitors and will also increase the number of push subscribers, reviews, newsletter subscribers. A loyalty program helps in increasing sales and increasing the retention rate.

Hyde here from Shopify. Congratulations! You've done a fantastic job, your site looks fantastic.

I do have a few suggestions that I think may help. For starters, I highly recommend you buy a domain. This will give your store that authentic, unique, professional starting point. Beyond that, you've done a great job with the UX design of your store, and the sharp photography is really exceptional. It's a pleasure to navigate!

One thing that struck me is your "About Us" page. First off, I noticed that part of your brand's mission is to "uphold the story of gender fluidity by standing against stereotypical fashion choices" - which is an admirable and worthy cause!

However, I'm struggling to see how that stated mission translates to the store or product? Could you talk me through how you feel your brand is being authentic and true to its beliefs, please?

Another thing I'd recommend is really telling your story on your About Us page. After all, this is the heart of your brand and the reason you're providing for why people should trust you and buy from you. Check out our tips on writing a great About Us page.

In fact, my top recommendation would be that you have a look at our best practices for establishing buyer trust because that is the most essential step when you are a new business.

Basically, your store has some good points:

  • Having a favicon for your store => make your store unique and helps customers easily recognize it.
  • Display social feed => Customers can follow and keep in touch
  • Have Shipping and Returns information on the footer
  • Use Frequently Bought together

However, I have some feedback:

1. Home page

1.1 Make the menu sticky

A sticky menu header helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the menu anytime they want. The menu has a search bar, and making a search bar prominent is very important. This helps customers feel rest assured and they can search anytime when they scroll up or down on the home page.

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc. This really helps to increase the conversion rate for your store.

On each slide, you can add a CTA button and redirect to different collection or product pages.

1.3 Add section about your brand story

A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.

1.4 Add testimonial - customer reviews

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. People will take action on an online store when they see many reviews of products. This will encourage them.
  • Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in easy ways

2. Collection page

2.1 Add a secondary hover image on each product image:

I recommend you should add a secondary hover image. By adding secondary hover images on each product image, customers can see a different image of each product and this provides more information as a visual aspect for customers and this also helps them to compare different products in a collection. 

2.2 Use Load more button instead of pagination 1b.png

Generally, customers are discouraged from browsing more of the product list that has multiple pagination links (the number of pages) and they spend more time on the first page. 

By using the Load more button, customers can compare products loading on one page. This helps to create a constant buying experience for customers and decrease the bounce rate.

2.3 Add average ratings for each product

​​You should include both the user rating average and the number of ratings on the product list items. This is one of the crucial elements for users’ purchasing decisions. They will rely on both to decide whether they should explore further a product.

Hope you are doing well! Your shop looks very neat and organized. Good job is done there. The theme matches your products very well.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.

  • Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.

    You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.

  • It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types

    Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product. Consider, however, adding a Shop Now button to your banner, which will take you directly to the relevant product page.

    It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.

  • People always don’t know everything about a product beforehand. When they see a product or show interest in a product, they want to know more about the different aspects and specifications of the product. If product descriptions fail to provide people with enough information about the product and fail to create an appeal for the product, the visitors won’t buy the product. So, provide elaborate and appealing product descriptions to every product to increase your sales.

  • Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.

  • Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.

  • You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.
