Hello Everyone!

 

I started building my store last year! It's a slow process. I am almost done but still need help with setting up my review page. Please visit my store and suggest how to make it better. I am going to add more products and better pictures once I have final set up. I already got two orders with this incomplete shop. 

I also need help with setting up sales tax. My business is registered in MA. Should I collect tax on every order I get from Massachusetts? I have been selling on Etsy so I never have to worry about collecting taxes, since Etsy does the all work.

Here are a few suggestions that you may consider to work on. 

 

  • Add Wishlist

Offering a Wishlist is an effective way to reduce shopping cart abandonment and fulfil sales from customers who showed intent but didn't purchase. If the items from the Wishlist haven't been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder. Also, since you offer various designs, I would recommend adding a Wishlist for user experience.

  • Implement the Loyalty and Rewards program

The Loyalty and Rewards program system inspires customers to connect more genuinely with your brand. It helps to strengthen direct communication between you and your audience and positively impacts repeat purchases and turns your customers into loyal clients. Motivate your purchasers by setting points and referral links. You can reward customers with points for leaving reviews, following on social media accounts, birthday gifts on special days, etc. Gained points can be spent on discounts, free delivery, or free product.

I suggest you take into consideration the Referral program in order to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and get rewarded for that. Once you got your first clients, try to gain more orders through existing ones. It motivates customers to develop brand community.

 

  • Add FAQ

Having an FAQ section can help you clarify information, build trust with your customers and improve  SEO and site navigation. 

 

  • Make Menu Sticky 

Right now, the menu bar on the head of the store disappears when the user scrolls down which is not convenient. Keeping navigation fixed and remaining visible in the same position as the user moves around the website will make your online shop more user-friendly.

  • Add more sections

Add more sections to your homepage. For example: New Arrivals, Featured Collection, Reviews, Blog, Rewards, etc.

Very nice and unique collection. The more people that visit the site, the better the site will rank in the search engines.


I've some feedback for better conversions.


1. Too much blank space in the header. Maybe move the logo to the left side of the main header menu.

2. Add the CTA button to the Home page header banner
Try adding a CTA buttons like "Shop Now", "Buy Now" in the Home page header banner. The Call To Action(CTA) acts as a signpost that lets the user know what to do next. Without a clear CTA, the user may not know the next steps to take to purchase a product or sign up for a newsletter and is likely to leave the site without accomplishing their task.

3. In the Home page you can add sections like 'New Arrivals', 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' which keeps customers updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
4. You can add testimonials on the home page which help build trust and loyalty.
Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
5. On the product page like https://arujadesigns.com/products/infinity-heart-charm-necklace, the write review section is displayed twice. Also always display the review section towards the end of the product page (above the footer)

6. Add filters in collection pages like https://arujadesigns.com/collections/necklaces
Filters will help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
7. It will look more professional if you maintain the same image size while listing all products.

The product description should provide visitors with important information about the features and benefits of the product so they are motivated to buy.

9. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
10. Add average ratings for each product
Showing your average rating gives your shoppers quick information to make purchase decisions. Average ratings provide you with feedback on popular and unpopular products that you can use to make changes.
11. Add sticky header
Adding a sticky header allows users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
12. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.

1) There is a section I see for customer reviews on the homepage but it is blank, if you have made any sales even if it was offline and not in real life try get some honest feedback on the quality of your products from those people and put them there. 
2) Like others suggested previously, I still have not seen a FAQ page on the homepage. This is important to add because it gives a bit more sense of clarity to your potential customers.

3) Gaining and keeping customers is the hardest task any store runner faces in the early days of the business. You need to come up with new methods and mechanisms on how to keep customers coming back and luckily for you there’s an app to help make this process smoother.
