Hello all. I have a store that is struggling with traffic and sales. It’s corascloset.net. Can someone give me some advice on how to improve my site and gain more traffic and sales? Thank you.
Hi!.I just took a look and wanted to be honest but constructive: the current design doesn't affect traffic directly, but it can seriously hurt conversions.
The layout feels a bit outdated and doesn't guide the customer clearly through the buying process. Fonts, colors, and spacing aren't creating the level of trust or clarity you need — especially for new visitors. A visually appealing and well-structured design can make a huge difference in turning browsers into buyers.
If you're already driving traffic, this could be the main reason people are not converting. I'd recommend focusing on redesigning your homepage, improving the product presentation, and using trust elements like reviews and clear calls to action.
Hi @coret145
Welcome to the community. I see that you done some work, have a few apps and that is good.
But you need to be aware that it is just a base, minimal work for the store to be functional. You need a lot more work on and off the store to get sales.
First, the best advise is to spend some time searching the community here. There are hundreds of topics with same question, "no sales" and most stores are like yours. And there are a bunch of good tips, that repeats, that you can apply to your store.
For specific things:
Good luck, search, learn, grow a bit by bit, but it is constant work.
Hi @coret145
Based on your store corascloset.net struggling with traffic and sales, here are expert recommendations to help improve your site performance, increase traffic, and boost conversions:
Enhance Product Pages:
Write clear, benefit-focused product descriptions that address customer needs. Use high-quality images and videos showing your products in use.
Add Customer Reviews:
Reviews build trust and help visitors decide. Apps like Judge.me or Loox can easily add verified reviews to your product pages.
Simplify Navigation:
Make it easy for visitors to browse collections and find products with clear menus and filters (by size, color, category).
Add Trust Signals:
Display security badges, accepted payment methods, and clear shipping/return policies prominently.
Optimize SEO:
Use unique, keyword-rich product titles and meta descriptions. Add alt text to images. Create blog content or guides related to your products to attract organic traffic.
Run Targeted Ads:
Use Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok ads targeting your ideal customer demographics. Narrow targeting improves ad efficiency.
Referral & Loyalty Programs:
Encourage existing customers to refer friends with rewards, expanding your reach organically.
Email Marketing:
Collect emails and send personalized offers, new arrivals, and abandoned cart reminders.
Use Upsells and Bundles:
Offer product bundles, volume discounts, or mix-and-match deals to encourage customers to buy more.
Add Urgency:
Use limited-time offers, countdown timers, or low-stock alerts to motivate quicker purchases.
Simplify Checkout:
Enable guest checkout, minimize form fields, and clearly show shipping costs early.
To effectively increase your average order value and conversions, I highly recommend the BiDeal Bundle Volume Discounts app. It offers:
Easy creation of product bundles, quantity breaks, and volume discounts without coding.
Eye-catching discount progress bars and free gift incentives to motivate customers.
Seamless integration with your Shopify theme and checkout flow, preserving native experience.
Ability to create up to 25 automatic discount tiers and 200 promo codes for flexible campaigns.
Features like mix-and-match bundles and cart discounts that drive higher sales and customer loyalty.
Many Shopify merchants have seen significant sales growth and higher average order values after installing BiDeal.
Hi @coret145
This is Jeffery from SEOAnt. To better let you know the store situation and realize the precise ways to gain more traffic and sales, I have searched your website on Google and listed some feedbacks below, please kindly take a look. Thank you!
1. The store favicon is missing. This is the first thing I have noticed when I check your store search results. It is very suggested to add a favicon on a store as your potential customers will feel easier to recognize your store and have a connection with your store brand seamlessly. You can add favicon from Shopify admin page by accessing Online store-Theme-Customize-Theme Settings-Logo-Favicon and after updating, it will display properly after indexing by Google next time.
2. Your Collection page has quite a long meta description content when displaying in Google Search. You can shorten the length of meta description between 100–200 characters, so that visitors can see what you sell completely and know the page details clearly also.

3. On your store homepage, some product images are lack of alt text contents. You can add them from Shopify admin page directly also, and it will be helpful for search engines to know what it is and match the content clearly. I have placed some image URLs here for example, and you can double-check from backend to add them properly.

Hii @coret145 , Website Traffic and sales are dependent on the SEO performance and speed optimization. I have reviewed your store using the Google Page Insights report. Below are my observations
SEO Performance
As you can see, your SEO score is 77, which is average regarding traffic engagement.
Suggested Improvements
Optimize your meta tags and descriptions
As per the analysis, your website does not have a meta description, which is crucial for boosting traffic. Make sure every page, especially product pages, has a clear and concise title and description with target keywords. Target more specific keywords that your potential customers might be searching for, rather than just broad terms. This can help you capture more qualified traffic.
Descriptive Text
On your website, many links do not have descriptive text. It helps search engines understand your content.
Alt Attributes in Images
Make all your image elements contain alt attributes so that users can understand the content of the image, which is essential for creating an inclusive experience.
Blog and Content Marketing: Create valuable, SEO-friendly content related to your products or industry. This helps drive organic traffic and increases the chances of sales through search engines.
To increase sales, I recommend keeping detailed information about the product on the page. Simplify the checkout process. Reduce the number of steps to complete a purchase and offer multiple payment options.
Leverage Social Media Marketing
Facebook and Instagram Ads: Create targeted ads based on demographics and behaviors. Social media platforms allow you to target specific audiences, helping you reach the right potential customers.
Influencer Marketing: Partner with influencers in your niche to promote your products. Influencers can help expand your reach and credibility.
Engage with Customers: Respond to comments, share user-generated content, and engage with your audience through polls and questions.

Hi @coret145
One thing I noticed right away is there is very little information on your website. What is the significance of the designs on the shirts? What material are the shirts made out of?
If you're getting sales but want to increase your AOV, you can try an app like, X Away From Free Shipping
The way the app works is that you set your Free Shipping price to $50. When people buy a shirt and go to checkout they will see a progress bar on the checkout page. The progress bar will show them they need to spend $20 more to "earn" free shipping. They might be encouraged to go back and buy a patch or a second shirt.
Hi @coret145,
Thanks for sharing your store. I had a look and you're off to a strong start with your product range and brand name. When traffic and sales are slow, it helps to focus on trust signals, clear messaging, and consistent outreach.
Here's a plan to help you move forward:
1. Make a Strong First Impression
Use a bold value statement on your homepage that tells visitors what makes your store special. It could be affordability, inclusive sizing, or limited collections. Feature best sellers or seasonal picks near the top with clear buttons like “Shop Now.” Adding a short About section makes the brand feel more relatable.
2. Build Trust and Reduce Hesitation
Even if you are just starting out, displaying a few customer reviews or testimonials can boost confidence. Write your shipping, return, and sizing policies in simple and friendly language. Add trust badges near the add to cart button such as secure payments or easy returns if applicable.
3. Capture Visitors and Stay in Touch
Use a popup offering a discount or early access in exchange for an email signup. Once you start collecting emails, set up basic flows like a welcome series, cart reminder, and a thank you message after purchase asking for reviews.
4. Drive Steady Traffic
Post style tips, behind the scenes content, or try on videos on Instagram or TikTok. Partner with micro-influencers who genuinely match your brand. You can also create short blog posts or styling guides to boost search visibility and share them on Pinterest.
