Hi @Bob77 ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Congratulations on your store! The website is pretty, clear and well-organized, but it's quite simple. I'd love to share some suggestions to improve your store:

1. Improve your sticky header and hero banner

I appreciated that your site has the sticky header. It helps customers easily access menu navigation although they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also quickly reach the Search field to find products with a sticky header. However, it takes a larger area on your screen:

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first. Your current images are pretty but I think we can improve it more, it doesn’t show the attractive products you have.

2. Add more content to your Homepage

  • Add section about your brand story: It helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.
  • Add testimonial - customer reviews: Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in easy ways. You also can add blogs or reviews of your customer as testimonials. Here is an example of testimonials and unique points that are displayed on our page templates, you can refer more.

2. Add more content to your Product page

  • Shipping information: Provide details about shipping options, estimated delivery times, and any associated costs.

  • Returns policy: Clearly state your policy regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

  • Related products: Offer suggestions for related or complementary products to encourage cross-selling.

  • Trust signals: Display trust badges, security icons, or certifications to reassure customers about the safety of their transaction.

  • Social sharing button: Allow customers to easily share the product on social media platforms.

  • FAQ section: Anticipate and address common questions about the product. For example:

  • Customer Support: Provide contact details or links to customer support for any questions or issues related to the product.

3. Prepare for the upcoming sales season

You might not prepare any sale activity for upcoming holiday, like BFCM, Christmas, Thanksgiving,... As the holiday season draws near, it's crucial to get ready for the upcoming sales surge. With events like mentioned above, early preparation is key. Here are some tips for you:

  • Email marketing campaigns: Send out targeted email campaigns with personalized offers and reminders about your holiday promotions. Keep your subscribers updated with relevant content and exclusive deals. Let's start this campaign soon as if collecting emails is delayed, the holiday campaign might not reach a wide audience.
  • Holiday specials and offers: Offer exclusive holiday promotions, discounts, or special deals to entire customers. You can add a countdown timer to give your customers get FOMO effect. Here is an example for you from our template:
  • Hold a holiday campaign, I have some names that you can consider:
    • Tech DIY workshops: Host virtual workshops demonstrating tech-related DIY projects or providing tech tips. Offer exclusive discounts on related products.
    • Unbox & win contest: Encourage customers to share unboxing videos of their purchases for a chance to win a special prize or discount on their next purchase.

These are some suggestions for improving the design.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Kate | PageFly Team

Hello Bob77,

Some tips to help improve the performance and traffic on the website:

  1. Optimize Website Snippet: A website snippet is the first thing that users see about the website on the search engine. Thus, optimizing website snippets can help create the impression that the webpage has content relevant to the search query of the users, which can improve the click-through rate of the website. You can optimize website snippets by:
    1. Adding a keyword to the meta titles, meta descriptions, and URLs of the webpage
    2. Limiting the length of the meta titles to 40-60 characters, meta descriptions to 120-160 characters, and URLs to 48 characters to ensure that they do not end with ellipses
  2. Optimize Site Structure: Site structure gives the first impression to the users, and if optimized, it gives the impression that the website is very professional and authentic. You can optimize site structure by:
    1. Organize the content of the website under different headings and ensure the consistency of the font format of different heading tags
    2. Add visuals, like images, videos, GIFs, and image carousel
    3. Select the right color palette and website theme that is best suited for the nature of the business
  3. Enable Rich Snippets: Rich snippets help the website to stand out on the SERP and help in improving the click-through rate of the website, and attract the right audience to the website. You can add Product Markup Snippet, FAQs Snippet, Homepage Snippet, etc. for the website.
  4. Optimize Page Speed: Good page speed helps the website in improving user experience and is considered as a quality signal by Google, which improves the ranking of the website on SERP. Some tips to improve the speed of the website are:
    1. Compress large images
    2. Reduce link redirects
    3. Remove dead JavaScript and CSS
    4. Implement AMP
    5. Implement lazy loading
    6. Utilize CDN
  5. Link Building: Backlinks are the best way to get discovered on the search engine, and one can create good backlinks for the website by:
    1. Creating good quality content (like articles or blogs on the topics related to the business and posting them in the website’s blog section)
    2. Guest posting on the blog-posting websites
    3. Using discussion forums and communities to create backlinks
    4. Approaching related businesses to request backlinks from their website
    5. Collaborating with suppliers/distributors/partners to get backlinks on their website
    6. Encouraging customers to post testimonials on different digital platforms
    7. Participating and contributing to the press releases
    8. Following the link-building strategy of the competitors
    9. Using SEO tools to identify link-building opportunities for the website
  6. Enhance Social Media Engagement: Social media platforms are the best platforms to interact and engage with users, and develop trust among them. With the help of these platforms, you can create good networks and potential customers for the website.

Hope it helps!

Hey @Bob77.
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate that you have shared your online store URL for us to explore! Looking into your store, I noticed that you are using the announcement bar to inform your visitors of a discount and free shipping offer. That is a great way to get your visitors browsing through the available products and create a buyer incentive! What do you think about including a slideshow section as the first section on the homepage? This can help your visitors learn more about the business and products without having to scroll. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite product in the slides.
I did want to bring to your attention that the TikTok icon displaying on the footer of the store is leading to a 404 error. I would suggest updating the icon link to ensure that it directs visitors to the correct TikTok business page. You can make changes to the icon link by navigating to your Theme Editor and selecting the Theme Settings. I took a screenshot of the section I am referring to:
Additionally, if you have other business social media pages - you can add those directly to the footer section as well. This can help provide your customers with a sense of security about making a purchase as they can reach out to the business across other platforms.
Let me know if you have any questions.
