I recently opened up an online store. My product is a shower head. I thought it is a pretty good idea. I buy them on Aliexpress. i put videos on Tiktok and promote them directly with a link to my website. i had 400 people who viewed my store, but i havent made any sales. Im kinda desperate... does anyone know what my issue is. The layout of your page should follow the order of the sections below:
1. Navigation bar and hero banner
Landing pages have no navigation so you can just hide the header and stay focus on your hero banner.
First-time users generally make a snap decision about the site and brand and tend to stick to that initial impression throughout the entire shopping session. Therefore, a hero banner with large, high-quality image will play a crucial part in keeping the interest of your Customers in your store. A hero banner with the looping background video introducing your product is even better if you can make it.
People tend to make the purchasing decision when they feel 'secured' and understand the brand's policies. Here are some guarantees that you can include on your page but feel free to make any changes depending on how you run your business.
3. Value propositions
What are the benefits that you offer to your Customers? What can your product do? What are their highlighted features? What are their competitive advantages? These are the questions that you should answer by presenting the value propositions. Here is an example that you can follow:
You should also add actual statements from real customers on what they have said about your product or service.
5. Product listing
I can see that you have added the product listing on your page but we can make it even better. As mentioned above, let's highlight the values and features of your product again. You do have the option view full details but here are the 2 blockers:
Visitors tend to be 'lazy' so they will not likely to click on it.
The descriptions are a bit too long and again, people will not like to read it as well.
Secondly, this is an opportunity to add promotions, discounts, countdown timer or any other means to urge visitors to make their decision quickly. Here is a good example that you can follow:
Customers will have questions before they make any purchase so this is recommended to have the FAQ sections where they can quickly find their answers.
7. Customer support
Sometimes the FAQ section might not cover the questions from your Customers. This is when you need a communication channel so your Customers can reach out to you whenever they need help.
There are 2 ways that you can make this implement this:
