Feedback for your online store from the community
We spent money on adds, both Facebook and Pinterest, we get traffic but no sales, no adding to carts. Can someone please look at our store and give us a Feedback on what could be the problem and what can we change? Thank you! The URL is: https://www.eccogiant.com/
Hello @Eccogiant,
I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can make better conversions.
1. Add 'New Arrivals' section to help customers keep updated on new products.
2. Add a detailed product description in product pages.
3. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.
4. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional.
5. Add social media for the store to increase the traffic. Having social media is a great way to grow your business, allowing you to tap into new audiences and gain more customers.
6. Optimize your footer with a more professional and functional look. Add pages like Contact Us, About Us, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, etc to the footer.
7. A FAQ would be useful!
8. Add About Us page which is a reflection of the purpose and personality of the business.
9. Add a section for email Newsletter in the footer to give updates pertaining to your business, products, and services.
10. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.

Hi @Eccogiant,
This is UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing - The no.1 Affiliate marketing on Shopify app store.
I have just taken a quick look at your website and I picked up some plus points are:
The layout of the page is clear
You divide your products into different categories.
You include enough information for customer in the footer
However, here are some suggestions for improvement and I hope you find it useful:
1. Setting a sticky menu
If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky. This helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the navigation bar at anytime.
2. Adding product reviews.
Customers will spend their to read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. So try to add some reviews of your products to your homepage. It will strongly help to increase customer's reliability to your products. You can use product review apps so support you to do it.
3. Tell your brand story
Try to introduce your store via "About us" section. You can inspire your energy, passionate to your customers via your story.
4. Marketing strategy
Marketing on social media such as Facebook and Pinterest offers an effective way to grow brand awareness and bring qualified traffic to your website. However, you should consider it because it is not really a potential choice for starters. The reason is that you might cost a lost of money to run for long term. In some specific case, if it don't bring positive traffics for you, you also need to pay fee to maintain them. We know it because we know many customers get same issues.
My recommendation is that you should think about another safer and suitable methods for your business. Affiliate marketing could be a good option for your.
You can add the affiliate registration form on the shop menu , so any visitors who visit your site can easily approach your affiliate campaign.

Hi @Eccogiant,
Your store looks great! I can see all the hard work you have put into the store’s appearance. Here I want to add more details to help you make the store perfect and increase conversion rate:
1, The search bar should not take too much space, but it also need to be visible enough so customers can subconsciously know where they should reach out searching for something
2, Make sure all the important information stays in the above-the-fold area, including your Call-to-action button.
Above-the-fold area is where we can attract the most customers, so it’s vital that Call-to-action should be the first thing they see on screen
3, Add Call-to-action button such as Shop Now, Add To Cart or View More button. This helps encourage customers to start purchasing as soon as they find their favorite products.
4, Use Load More button instead of Pagination. When we use pagination, products from the last pages have fewer chances to be bought. Load More button with endless scroll can avoid this issue.
5, Use color swatch for Product Color Variants to keep it user-friendly and professional. You can also make use of Drop down element to organize Ship From variants neatly.
To customize your page easily, you can try PageFly page builder where you do not need to use custom code to create a stunning page. You can also take a look at our template gallery to choose what suits you the most.

Hello @Eccogiant
Hope you are doing well.
I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?
Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.
Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.
Here are some areas where you could consider working on
A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.
People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.
It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types
Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product.
It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.
Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!
Hello @Eccogiant,
Hope you are well.
You have done a pretty good job. I must say your store looks great. If the Facebook and Pinterest ads are driving traffic to your store, you need to optimize your store to improve your store conversions.
What can you do?
Check your site's bounce rate? Are your users bouncing back because they are not getting answers to product questions? Are they not finding the right product? A quiz-like feature that could guide the user to the right products would help. Are users abandoning their carts before check-out? An exit-intent campaign with personalized incentives(like free-shipping or discount coupons) can help reduce the number of abandoned carts Improve customer engagement with always-on live-chat to help users and nudge them to finish the purchase.
You can choose from a multitude of apps on the Shopify store to address these issues individually. Or you can check out Relish AI for an all-in-one solution. Our conversational AI-powered chatbot/shopping assistant engages customers from the moment they land on your store, provide instant answers for products and brand FAQs, provide 24/7 automated customer support, reduces cart abandonment and support tickets by 30-50%.
