Traffic with no sales

I started my store with $100 to my name. I have gotten good products, very competitive prices, and good shipping terms, but have only had 3 sales. I need to know what I am doing wrong that customers aren't buying. I am the owner of MajesticWolf Traders, www.majesticwolftraders.com , I created the department store I have always wanted. Put the items in that are trending and moving quick and I price it to move, still no sales. I have used Varinode for marketing the items that are trending, I've spent over $140 in the last ten days to boost traffic. Nothing! Oh I get the traffic but no sales. Please someone can you help me discover what I am doing wrong? Please check my site and let me know. Thank you.

Hi @Wolf1970, where are your product descriptions? Will you purchase an item after viewing images without any information? Stop wasting your money on ads and update your store by adding information about your products.

I see you have a Reviews tab but it is blank also, you can add reviews for your products so they can help you increase sales. You can install this review app for free: Ryviu app

It's not easy to evaluate just by looking at your site. I suggest you consider your marketing tactics and ask yourself whether it's right or not. Or you would overspend without have a deeper looking at it.

I recommend you use affiliate marketing, one of the most profitable marketing types that you could ever imagine. You only pay for the affiliates only when they make the sales for you, isn't it great?

If you're new to this, I can make it brief:

Affiliate marketing is a marketing strategy motivating your affiliates to promote your products/ service for commission exchange.

Three parties involved are:

Merchants: you

Affiliates responsible for selling the merchant’s product/ service to their sizable audience

Customers are consumers that fit within the affiliate’s target audience

Here is how this work:

#1 You and affiliate collaborate either through a third party or directly

#2 The affiliate shares the product/service (typically through a referral link/ a coupon) to their audience

#3 The potential customer get engaged with the affiliate’s link

#4 The customer arrives at your landing page

#5 The consumer purchases your product

#6 The affiliate earns a commission

At the end of the day, you would get more and more customers and rocket sales with less effort.

What merchants have difficulties when initially launch an affiliate program is HOW TO FIND AFFILIATES?

There're many ways to find them, I have some methods for pet supplies for your store like you:

These coupon and deal sites would become your affiliates by pushing your promotion codes on their websites, customers would then use your code taken on the sites at your store’s checkout, and the sites would receive a commission while you converted a myriad of customers.

Hi @Wolf1970

All-in-one marketing platform Growave is here. Here are some suggestions that you can work on. I hope it would help.

First of all, I would recommend you to check web analytics to see how people behave on your site. I suppose one of the reasons for experiencing low sales could be that visitors don’t find your store reliable to make purchase. Therefore, I would suggest adding Testimonials/Reviews for building customer trust and social proof. Also, you can stick Widget with reviews next to selling products.

Additionally, you can consider the Referral Program in order to give your existing customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that. Once you get your first clients, try to gain more orders through existing ones.

Update product page. Color options are written as codes (example: j18399black). Also, there is no product information and description!

Implement Wishlist. Offering a Wishlist is an effective way to reduce shopping cart abandonment and fulfill sales from customers who showed intent but didn't purchase.  Since you offer color oprions , I recommend adding a Wishlist to improve the user experience. If the items from the Wishlist haven't been bought, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

Implement Social Login, so your customers can log in using their Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Yahoo, Tumblr, Instagram, or Amazon accounts. It simplifies the login process and enables one-click signup through social media, which makes your store user-friendly. Meanwhile gathered data through social login can be studied for customer retention and client analysis.

Hello @Wolf1970,

Hope you are well.

The site looks good but the lack of any product description could be one of the reasons behind no sales. If you are running ads to drive traffic to your store and still getting no sales, then you need to optimize your store to improve your store conversions. What can you do? Check your site's bounce rate? Are your users bouncing back because they are not getting answers to product questions? Improve customer engagement with always-on live-chat to help users and nudge them to finish the purchase. Are they not finding the right product? A quiz-like feature that could guide the user to the right products would help. Are users abandoning their carts before check-out? An exit-intent campaign with personalized incentives(like free-shipping or discount coupons) can help reduce the number of abandoned carts Improve customer engagement with always-on live-chat to help users and nudge them to finish the purchase. You can choose from a multitude of apps on the Shopify store to address these issues individually.

Or you can check out Relish AI for an all-in-one solution. Our conversational AI-powered chatbot/shopping assistant engages customers from the moment they land on your store, provide instant answers for products and brand FAQs, provide 24/7 automated customer support, reduce cart abandonment and support tickets by 30-50%.
