My photos (sRGB files) look dull and darker once uploaded onto my shopify site.
The slideshow on my home page is particularly bad.
I have read https://shopify.dev/tutorials/customize-theme-troubleshooting-fix-colors-of-uploaded-images
I have tried saving images with and without the colour profile, but still it makes no difference.
See attached image, my picture off my computer vs on the slideshow on my shopify site.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Can you link to your site with this in place? And since I'm rather curious it would be handy to see the original image too if you're able to upload that somewhere.
I still think this is going to be colour profile related but let's find out.
Hi Jason, my site is on a trial version at the moment, so I can't give a link.
Here is the image info:
Still having the dull image issue.
Can anyone help please? Thank you
SORTED!
There is an "overlay" option on the slideshow images, the "tint" selection was ON!
Hope this helps someone else 🙂
Hello it is me again.
So even making sure the tint is not selected my photos are very dull and dirty looking.
Here is a screen shot of the pictures on my computer versus the same pictures (jpegs, rgb colour profile saved)
Please can someone help. As I am selling prints the colours need to be a true representation of the actual prints.
Thank you
