Feedback for your online store from the community
Greetings all,
I am wondering if I could get some honest feedback with my website design and overall appearance. I get traffic, but my conversion rate is low. I am close to finalizing a large contract with a law firm, but general sales are not good.

Thank you all so much!
Hi @AvyCoffee ,
This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
I'm genuinely impressed with your website. It has a stylish flair while remaining clean, clear, and professional. Based on my expertise in CRO, I’d love to offer some suggestions to improve the conversion rate and sales for your store.
Homepage
1. Modify your menu bar
You should reduce the size of your logo and adjust its position to create a more compact navigation bar. When customers scroll up and down, this will result in a smaller sticky header, allowing them to see more of your page and improving their browsing experience.
Old version:
New version:
2. Add the CTA button for your hero banner
You should include a CTA button on your hero banner. A hero banner with a Call-to-Action (CTA) button is essential for store homepages as it immediately grabs visitors' attention, clearly communicates key brand messages or offers, and directs them toward desired actions like shopping or signing up.
3. Add testimonials section
Testimonials are an essential component of any successful Shopify store. It provides social proof, builds credibility, and influences potential customers' purchasing decisions. It can help your online store be more trustworthy.
4. Change the cut images
You should update the images on your online store to ensure that the full image is displayed without cutting off parts, like the head of the man in the current photos. This change will not only enhance the design but also improve the overall browsing experience for your customers.
Other
Cart Abandonment Strategy
Implement a cart abandonment email strategy to re-engage customers who leave without purchasing.
Consider exit-intent pop-ups offering a discount or free shipping to encourage users to complete the purchase.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful in optimizing your website's conversion rate and sales. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. I wish you the best of luck with your online venture.

Your store looks amazing! It has quite enough essential information and a pleasant aesthetic look. However, we can make it even better. Here are some of my recommendations to improve customer experience, please kindly check.
1. Add a favicon
A favicon helps users quickly identify your site among multiple open tabs or bookmarks. When appearing in browser address bars, bookmark lists, and search results, it acts as a mini advertising sign and increases visibility for your store.
An example of a favicon:
2. Add more product images
Close-up images of materials allow customers to better understand the product's texture, quality, and appearance. This can significantly reduce uncertainty and improve the conversion rate.
3 types of product images that should always be included for most products:
3. Refine the footer section
The footer is often overlooked, but it's a valuable piece that can significantly enhance user experience and boost your website's effectiveness. Some of the elements you can consider adding are:
4. Add an FAQ page
An FAQ page serves multiple purposes such as improving customer experience, reducing customer support load and enhancing SEO.

Hi @AvyCoffee,
I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.
I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance.
Here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate and the UX/UI:
1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate
A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.
To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:
2. Improve search bar
You should enhance the search by making larger product images, showing pricing, adding search by material, search by collection to improve search bar. Below is a reference, with large pictures, it provides a better experience on mobile.
3. Improving the speed and performance on Mobile
4. Improve SEO
Taking the time to ensure your web pages are properly optimized can help increase your organic traffic, meaning more potential customers browsing your products. SEO strategies can drive site traffic to your Shopify website effectively.
For an average small e-commerce store, you should get at least 1000 visitors per month to start having a stable source for sales.
Here are some basic elements you should check:
Title Tags & Meta Descriptions:

Hi @AvyCoffee,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm Tracy from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.
Hey there! I took a good look at your site, https://www.avycoffee.com, and I’ve got some thoughts on how you might tweak things to boost your conversions. The site already has a great foundation, so these are just some ideas to help it really shine!
1. First Impressions & Design
Looking Good, But Let’s Add Some Flavor: Your site has a sleek, professional vibe, which is awesome. But maybe it’s a tad too minimalist? Adding some vibrant images or even a short, punchy video showing your coffee in action (think steaming cups, happy customers) could help grab attention right from the get-go.
2. Hero Banner: Let’s Make It Pop!
Mobile Matters: I noticed that on mobile, the “Explore Now” button is kinda blocking the hero image. That’s a bummer because that image is your first chance to wow visitors. How about repositioning the button so the image stays front and center? And while we’re at it, let’s switch up that CTA to something a bit more exciting—like “Shop Now” or “Get Your Fresh Brew Today.”
Case in point: When Blue Bottle Coffee revamped their hero section with a bold image and a clear, action-oriented CTA, they saw a nice bump in engagement.
3. Before and After Avy Coffee: Show Off Your Uniqueness
Showcase What Makes You Special: Everyone knows coffee, but not everyone knows your coffee. Instead of generic content, why not highlight what makes Avy Coffee unique? Is it the way you source your beans? A special roasting method? Your brand’s backstory? Take a page out of Starbucks’ playbook—when they leaned into storytelling around their bean-to-cup journey, it really resonated with customers.
Build Trust with Real Content: The sections before and after Avy Coffee should give visitors a reason to believe in your brand. Customer testimonials, a peek into your coffee’s origin, or a fun behind-the-scenes video can do wonders.
4. Navigation & User Experience
Smooth Sailing: Your menu is easy to navigate, which is great. But maybe it could be a bit more descriptive? For example, instead of just “Shop,” how about “Explore Our Coffees”? Little tweaks like this can make a big difference.
Speedy and Mobile-Ready: If your site’s fast, awesome! If not, optimizing those images could help. And definitely keep that mobile experience smooth—most people are browsing on their phones these days.
5. Product Pages
Make Them Irresistible: Your product descriptions could use a bit more flavor. Talk about what makes each blend special, and make sure the images are crisp and high-quality. Apple does a fantastic job of making their products feel premium through detailed descriptions and stunning visuals.
Let Your Customers Do the Talking: Adding customer reviews on your product pages can build trust. People love hearing from others who’ve already enjoyed the product!
6. CTAs That Click
Compelling CTAs: Your CTAs should stand out and make visitors want to click. Something like “Order Now” or “Experience the Perfect Brew” could work well.
Sweeten the Deal: Consider offering a little something extra, like a first-time discount or free shipping. When Warby Parker introduced free trials and returns, it helped ease purchase hesitation.
7. Trust Signals: Build Credibility
Show Off Your Creds: If you’ve got certifications or big-name partnerships (like that law firm contract you’re close to landing), flaunt them! It’s like how Patagonia proudly displays their environmental certifications—it builds trust with their audience.
8. Checkout Process: Make It Easy
Smooth Checkout: Keep the checkout process as simple and quick as possible. And maybe add a little nudge if someone’s about to leave without buying—an exit-intent popup offering a discount could do the trick.
Final Thoughts
Your website’s on the right track, and with these tweaks—especially jazzing up that hero banner and showing off what makes your coffee unique—you could see a nice boost in conversions. If you want to brainstorm more or need a hand with anything, just let me know!
