Howdy @adventuretime,

Your store looks pretty great. I love how you order everything on the page, the color matching is nice. You mentioned that you've got no sales at all, no worries. I have some suggestions that you can consider.

joanhiddleston_0-1634628775720.png

I see you want to collect emails from leads but this does not look good and captivating enough. There're a lot of social proof apps on the Shopify app store (FREE) that you can try which aim to solve the low conversion challenges by increasing add-to-cart and boosting trust for the eCommerce website with features (Sales Pop ups, Countdown Timers, and Coupon Code Wheel) that catches your audiences' attention and has a higher chance of converting them to customers.

Another way is that you can leverage affiliate marketing if you have a limited marketing budget. This marketing type has no upfront cost, you will pay only the affiliates to make sales for you.

If you're not familiar with this term, I would make it in short like this:

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing strategy motivating your affiliates to promote your products/ service for commission exchange.

At the most basic, three parties involved are:

Merchants: that's you

Affiliates are those responsible for selling the merchant’s product/ service to their sizable audience

Customers are consumers that fit within the affiliate’s target audience

Here is how this work:

#1 You and affiliate collaborate either through a third party or directly

#2 The affiliate shares the product/service (typically through a referral link/ a coupon) to their audience

#3 The potential customer get engaged with the affiliate’s link

#4 The customer arrives at your landing page

#5 The consumer purchases your product

#6 The affiliate earns a commission

At the end of the day, you would get more and more customers and rocket sales with less effort.

What merchants have difficulties when initially launch an affiliate program is HOW TO FIND AFFILIATES?

There're many ways to find them, I have some methods for pet supplies for your store like you:

Use dedicated solution

UpPromote Marketplace is where to help you make things possible. It’s completely free. You can find them by showcasing your program on the Marketplace or proactively find your potential partners.

Join affiliate networks/forums

Listing your programs on affiliate networks like ShareasaleClickbank, or JvZoo is another fantastic approach to discover affiliates.

Approach influencers

Using Google to find influencers on Instagram‌ by searching this query on Google‌: site:instagram.com “k followers” + Niche market keyword. Then Google will filter Instagram accounts having more than 1000 followers.

There're also many other types, if you're looking for further information, you can find out more about it here.

Hi @adventuretime,

This is UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing - We are the no.1 Affiliate marketing on Shopify app store. I am happy here to share some experience and suggestions for your online store. And I truly hope that they are useful and helpful for you in improving your sales performance.

I totally you are just starting your business. Firstly, congratulation for your first step. It would be hard at the beginning. Most other business would be same as you when beginning, and now they are successful. So be patient!

I have just taken a quick look at your website and I picked up some plus points are:

  • The layout of the page is clear
  • You include enough information for customer in the footer
  • The information of each product is clear and detailed
  • Your selling products are very interesting

However, here are some suggestions for improvement and I hope you find it useful:

1. Add more products and divide them into different categories

Showing more products will help customers have more options to choose.  And when you dividing them into different categories customers easily can find different types/ colors of the products they are looking for.

2. Add Favicon

Adding Favicon will help customers recognize your brand easier. It also shows your professionalism.

3. Adding product reviews.

Customers will spend their to read user reviews more than they read product descriptions.  So try to add some reviews of your products to your homepage. It will strongly help to increase customer's reliability to your products. You can use product review apps so support you to do it.

Regarding marketing strategy, you should spend first priority to find the methods which brings positive results with no risky and low cost. It much better for you at this time.

I know one of most popular reasons why merchants got 0 sale in several months is about marketing strategy. Someone got trouble in store design, however, someone feel confused when choosing the right marketing strategy for their stores.

Tip 1: Increase Shopify sales with popup promotions

After creating upsell bundles and discounts, the next step is to start spreading the word. Popups are a great way to draw your customers’ attention towards these promotions and offers.

Some people believe that popups can be pesky, driving customers away. This might be true for those who are using them incorrectly. But when done in the right way at the right time, popups can lead to the conversion of 40%  of your store’s visitors into customers. All you need is the right Shopify app to increase sales.

Tip 2: Sell your products in social channels such as Facebook and Instagram

The top social media networks include: Facebook; Twitter; Instagram; Snapchat; LinkedIn; TikTok; Pinterest; Youtube. You should open your store on different social media channels, such as creating page, Instagram account. Then link them to your website. That will help you to get more sales from diversity sources.

However, they are popular methods to viral your products faster. However, you should consider it because it is not really a potential choice for starters. The reason is that you might cost a lost of money to run for long term. In some specific case, if it don't bring positive traffics for you, you also need to pay fee to maintain them. We know it because we know many customers get same issues.

Tip 3: Using affiliate marketing

My recommendation is that you should think about another safer and suitable methods for your business. Affiliate marketing could be a good option for your.  Affiliate marketing is a marketing model which allows you to connect with various affiliates, and then they will use their advertising sources such as social media channels, websites, blogs, etc, to promote your products. You only need to pay affiliate commission whenever a customer makes a purchase via the unique link or coupon associated with their recommendation.

How to publish your affiliate registration on your menu bar?

You can add the affiliate registration form on the shop menu, so any visitors who visit your site can easily approach your affiliate campaign.

Your affiliate can create an account and log in right in your shop, which is really simple and convenient.

The advantages of affiliate Marketing compared with other methods

1. Low investment but high cost effective

In fact, affiliate marketing does not need a huge amount to build a customer service team, or running advertising. This campaign helps to mitigate any risks that drive traffic or run social ads with little or no result for your Shopify business, while also ensuring that merchants achieve what they pay for.

In fact, whereas a poor marketing campaign that sends you low quality results will still need to be paid for, even if you make no sales. However, affiliate marketing ensures your marketing is cost effective and helps to reduce the risk of “leaking out” money for an uncertain market.

2. Make extra income

The main advantage of affiliate marketing is that the income is entirely performance-based. This is because affiliates are only paid a commission when a purchase has taken place. That means if the affiliates have an ineffective campaign, it won’t affect your budget.

The affiliates understand that driving huge traffic of potential customers will help to increase sales conversion. For this reason, the affiliates will spend much effort to build effective social platforms, promotion or boosting posts of your products in a better way to attract customers. The more efficiently they work, the more commission they generate, and the more sales you earn.

UpPromote_2-1634629635711.png

3. Brand Awareness

A research reported that 92% of customers trust the recommendations of people, companies or influencers they know. For this reason, working directly with affiliate marketers who then promote your products to their established audience, brings more opportunities and more direct sales. The plus of affiliate marketing is to expand out into new markets that you haven't explored, giving your brand a much stronger online presence.

4. SEO Value

Publishers (the affiliates) link to your website to send traffic your way. Provided they aren’t spammy, these links are usually beneficial for your off-page SEO efforts, since inbound links are a huge factor in Google’s ranking algorithm.

5. Customer Data

UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing provides you valuable data and insight into how, where and why your customers are buying, which you can then use to make smarter marketing decisions in the future across other channels.

Hi  @adventuretime

This is PageFly - Free Landing Page Builder. I would love to provide my recommendation for your store about the store design based on 5 years of providing solutions for about 100.000 active Shopify merchants.

So I have just gone through your website and here are some of my thoughts about your store:

Plus points:

  • Your page layout is simple and clear
  • Feature products are clearly presented on the home page
  • Sticky header allows easier navigation

That being said, I would like to give you some suggestions for improvement. Hope you find it valuable.

Have a favicon for your page:

Having a favicon for your store will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. You can check this article to know how to add it.

Homepage:

PageFly_0-1634806017453.png

  • Add section about your brand story

A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.

  • Add testimonial - customer reviews

Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product review to the page in ease ways

Product listing page:

PageFly_1-1634806078611.png

  • Have a secondary hover image:

By presenting secondary hover images, customers can easily scan many products to see extra visual information.

  • Add “Load More” Button

If you have more products, you can consider add Load More button. By doing this, customers can compare products loading on one page. This helps to create a constant buying experience for customers

Product page:

PageFly_2-1634806109674.png

  • Evenly distribute your content:

On your product page, I can see the product page provides enough information regarding the product. However, these contents are not really evenly distributed and it effects your site aesthetic. Other than that, everything looks good

These are some articles that might give you new ideas for your store:

Personalize Your Product Listing Page https://pagefly.link/JvghSkMt

Personalize Your Homepage: https://pagefly.link/fefPTvgU

Above are some of my initial thoughts on your store and I hope you find something helpful. If you are still looking for a tool to build a great website, I hope you can try our product: PageFly Landing Page Builder

If these feedbacks about the homepage and collection page are helpful, please give me a "like". Thank you so much and I hope your business is successful!

Cheers!

Hello @adventuretime

Hope you are doing well.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.

  • Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.

You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.

  • People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.

  • It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types

Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product.

It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.

  • You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.

  • I see that your store doesn’t have a Favicon. Having a favicon on your website is crucial. It makes your site recognizable on browser tabs, but it too gives a professional look to your website.

Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!

Hello @adventuretime,

Hope you are well.

You have done a pretty good job. I must say your store looks great. I especially loved the Instant Cup Noodles Ramen Bed. Being a cat parent I can see the appeal of these unique and cute beds for pets. Are you running any Facebook and Pinterest ads for your store? If you are, you need to optimize your store to improve your store conversions. What can you do? Check your store’s bounce rate? Are your users bouncing back because they are not getting answers to product questions? Are they not finding the right product? A quiz-like feature that could guide the user to the right products would help. Are users abandoning their carts before check-out? An exit-intent campaign with personalized incentives(like free-shipping or discount coupons) can help reduce the number of abandoned carts Improve customer engagement with always-on live-chat to help users and nudge them to finish the purchase.

You can choose from a multitude of apps on the Shopify store to address these issues individually. Or you can check out Relish AI for an all-in-one solution. Our conversational AI-powered chatbot/shopping assistant engages customers from the moment they land on your store, provides instant answers for products and brand FAQs, 24/7 automated customer support, reduces cart abandonment and support tickets by 30-50%.

Hi there @adventuretime

I have visited your store and here are my feedbacks. Hope they are helpful to you!

  • Homepage

I recommend put the Add to cart button below all products on the homepage and activate a Sticky cart on all pages so that customers can easily check out their cart. This tool can also reduce the abandonment rate and thereby increase your sales a lot.

Try out the Free app Advanced Sticky Add To Cart to activate the Add to cart button, Sticky cart, Sticky bar in your store.

  • Product page

To boost sales revenues, you can apply a cross- sell method in your store by adding product bundles with discounts. Product bundles with discounts is an effective tip to motivate customers to buy more products. Most customers are willing to buy product bundles to get a lower total price so that you should not miss this chance by adding many bundles on your website.

If you want to add product bundles in your store at ease and free, try out this app Product Bundle Discount Volume

  • Add Instagram gallery on your Shopify Store

I see that you have a business Instagram account which is great to integrate your Instagram with your store. Turn your Instagram feed into a shoppable gallery and let your followers shop right from the posts. Displaying beautiful shoppable Instagram galleries throughout your site will aid in product discovery, inspiration, and sales. Link your Instagram profile to your store and convert your followers into customers. App Instagram Shoppable Feed can help you at ease and free.

That’s all my suggestions for your store. If you find them helpful, please give me a Like

Happy selling!
