Solved

Why am I getting clicks but no sales on my new site?

Good Afternoon, I’m sure this is a common question.

I’m new to this; my site has 400 views but no sales yet. I would appreciate some feedback from anyone who can give it. Thanks

(I’m looking to add new products soon as I know there aren’t many)

Hi @Lh03

Thanks for reaching out here! Welcome to the Shopify Community.

Congratulations on the launch of your store! It's great that you are seeking feedback to improve your store and increase sales. I took a look at your store and I have a couple of suggestions for how you can improve it even more than you already have:

  • Add a Favicon - A favicon is the small logo that appears in the browser tab when someone visits your store. It can help your store look more professional, make it easier for customers to find your store among multiple tabs, and also improve your search engine rankings.
  • Include an 'about Us' page - Adding an About Us page to your Shopify store can help you build trust with your customers by providing information about your brand, your values, and your story. It can also help you differentiate your store from competitors and establish a personal connection with your customers.
  • Create a 'Contact Us' page - This feature can make it easier for customers to get in touch with you if they have questions or concerns. It can also help you build trust with your customers by showing that you are accessible and responsive to their needs.
  • Add Policy Pages to your store - Including information pages like a Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, can help you establish trust with your customers by providing clear and transparent information about your business practices. It can also help you comply with legal requirements and protect your business from potential disputes or other legal issues.

It's great to hear that you are already noticing traffic on your store. Have you thought about ways to increase your conversions? I would recommend creating a marketing plan for your store if you haven't done so already, as it helps for things like goal setting and marketing budget allocation. Also, feel free to check out this handy resource here which contains some great tips for making your very first sale on Shopify.

No; this is the first time I’m hearing of it.

I’m not really looking to pay for coaching, just a few general tips.
