Hello everybody,

I’ve had a recent problem with my Shopify store. After running ad campaigns for a few days on TikTok, I got over 4 thousand views on my website. However, I have had 0 conversions & 0 purchases and I’m not sure what to do.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

Hi @A3r0smith ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Shopify Ticketing System App

Your store looks really impressive, and I can see the dedication you've poured into its creation. While it's already great, I do have some suggestions to help make it even better. Here are a few of my recommendations for better customer experience, if you don't mind taking a look.

1. Highlighting what you are trying to sell

Visitors are quick to evaluate not only a site’s product catalog, the brand’s policies, trustworthiness but more importantly, value proposition that you are aiming for. The lack of clarity towards this factor can result in misinterpretations during this first glance, leading to premature abandonment.

You can start off by adding a short statement or slogan to let your audience know what you are selling. A short video introducing your products in the hero banner would also do the trick and impress the visitors.

2. Adding slideshow (carousel)

To make your list of products become more dynamic and attractive, you can turn it into a slideshow (carousel) with autorotation or manual controls. Just keep in mind with the following factors:

  • Slides shouldn’t rotate too quickly (especially if they include text),
  • Autorotation should always pause when hovered,
  • Autorotation should permanently stop after any user interaction with the carousel,
  • Manual controls should be overly clear.

3. Social proof

To acquire more trust from visitors, you can also add more testimonials to show actual statements from real customers on what they have said about your products. This would also help you boost your conversion rate significantly.

4. Customer support

To minimize the effort of navigating the way to reach your support, you can create a help widget, usually located at the bottom right of your page. The help widget can allow your customers to quickly submit their questions, requests or feedback. If you are wondering how to do it, you can give MooseDesk a try. MooseDesk is a ticket management system and it allows you to customize the help widget from company logos, fonts, background colors, etc. You can refer to this article for more info.

More importantly, we are currently offering MooseDesk for FREE to all early birds and our 24/7 support is always ready to provide you all the support you need.

Hi @A3r0smith ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

It’s a nice website and very promising traffic. Diving right in, I have some suggestions that can further optimize your site and increase conversion rates via TikTok.

1. Use app to link your Shopify store to TikTok easier

When people click shopping on TikTok, they are more likely to expect to see and “watch” the product immediately. So it’s great that you created a minimalistic design for your store. However, you can consider using a FREE tool that built in by Shopfiy - Linkpop, or Koji and Beacon.

It will help your viewers on TikTok quickly access your product and click “Buy”. And they all have free plan available.

2. Optimize your store front

PageFlyKate_0-1696905870903.png

  • Optimize the hero banner and title: When I click on your hero banner, it redirects me to to an unexpected product.

PageFlyKate_1-1696905872196.png

It a bit misleading for visitors.

  • Create specialized landing page for each product. Since your store is focusing on 7 products, and they are quite different from each other, I’d like to suggest creating a product landing page for each of them.

For examples:

  • Prepare promotion content for holiday. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, … are coming. You can consider adding a countdown timer section, or special offers for these events. For example:

- Special offers

- Countdown timer:

- And don’t forget the review section:

I hope you find these suggestions beneficial. Have a wonderful day, and all the best with your endeavors!

Cheers,

Hey @A3r0smith.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have provided us with your online store URL as that is very helpful! Looking into your store, I noticed that you currently do not have a favicon added to the homepage. A favicon is a small image that displays on the browser tab and represents the business/company. If you take a look toward the tabs of your browser - I am sure you will see a favicon! You can add a favicon to the homepage to give your online store a polished look. We have a great step-by-step guide available here

Add more social media icons to the footer of the store. This is a great way to have brand consistency across multiple platforms. It can also provide your visitors with security about their purchase knowing that they can reach out to the business on other platforms. I took a screenshot of the section I am referring to:

You can add more social media proof to the footer of the store by following this guide on our Help Center
