There are already plenty of tips here to keep you busy for a long time, but I figured I'd toss in my two cents:

  • Your top menu is a little confusing. Pet Supplies and Pet Toys make sense, but Shop and Pets don't make as much sense. Also, since you can click your logo to get back to your home page, there's no need for the Home Page link.
  • There's still some placeholder text on your policy pages.
  • Adding a contact page would help build trust.
  • Someone else talked about adding a FAQ and About Us pages. I totally agree - use them to make your brand seem more "human." Why'd you start this shop? Why did you pick cats? What are your cats' names? Keep it professional but make it relatable -- people will want to support you.

so as of now im getting traffic from an Instagram influencer with 288k followers and engagement rate of 4%. Im also running some facebook ads but majority of my traffic so far is from instagram influencer traffic, and they usually stay there for 3-4 minutes.

Its traffic mainly from Canada, united states, and some European countries, what do you recommend now to improve the conversions and get some add to carts and then hopefully lead to sales?

So i actually added some apps, a page speed booster, i added a currency converter, and a product review app but it seems to be either i might have to add some socials or contact us, or maybe change up the theme? What do you think?

So add the contact us page, link my socials, and use the message her theme?

Hi @Faris451

This is Richard from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App. After looking into your store, I have some comments below:

Here are some good points I can see from your site:

  • Hover effect for product media: enhance your custom
  • Hover effect for buttons: make these buttons stand out
  • You have clearly indicated your policies

PageFlyRichard_0-1679364434436.png

I have a few more comments to make your pages even better:

I. HOMEPAGE

1. Hero banner

You can optimize your hero banner by using one single background image instead of combining 2, and the image should highlight your products. When I first look at your banner, I could not know exactly what you're selling:

PageFlyRichard_1-1679364434924.png

2. Adjust your product list

Currently some items in your product list are not quite aligned.

PageFlyRichard_2-1679364434743.png

The reason comes from the wrong media size. This results in an unattractive layout, which would drive your audience away from adding products to cart. To fix this problem, you can change product images to the same size so all items shall be aligned.

Also, an addition of “Add To Cart" buttons is a good idea, as you might not want to miss the chance to encourage buyers to buy your products when they browse your products.

3. Add ratings to your products

When customers browse your page, they will find star ratings useful. This lets them know what products are trending and getting positive feedback from similar buyers.

4. Showcase your Instagram or other social profiles

As usual, social media is one of the effective ways to get more traffic and make a good connection with your customers. Display social media such as Instagram and constantly update the feed.

5. Add trust signals

Trust signals, such as customer reviews, testimonials, trust badges, and security seals, can help build trust with potential customers. Consider adding them to your home page to increase credibility and encourage users to make a purchase.

6. Improve the website's loading speed

The loading speed of the website seems to be slow, which can impact the user experience negatively. This can lead to a high bounce rate and low conversion rate.

As per research, users tend to abandon a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load.

To improve the website's loading speed, compress images, optimize the code, and use a content delivery network (CDN) to reduce the server response time.

7. Optimize for mobile devices

A significant portion of website traffic comes from mobile devices, so it's crucial to ensure that the website is optimized for mobile users. The website should be responsive, have a fast loading speed, and be easy to navigate on smaller screens.

For example, you can adjust the hero banner, featured products and your policies section to make them look better on mobile.

II. PRODUCT PAGE

1. Use swatches as selector for color variations

Users who cannot easily determine all the color variations a product comes in may overlook options they would prefer and prematurely abandon a product that could have been suitable.

PageFlyRichard_3-1679364434954.png

The solution is that you use swatches to display and select color variations (not dropdown).

2. Adjust price styling

You should define which price you want to highlight. In this case, I'm sure it's “$43.16”, which is the sales price that your customers might be interested in. Therefore, what you need to do is to increase the size of the discounted price and reduce the size of the original one (change its color too).

Hello @Faris451,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

After examining your store, I found some improvements you can make that could increase your sales.

1. Add favicon to your store which is a small square image/logo that appears next to a web address. Favicon helps to strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. See shopify help here
2. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
3. Add social media for the store to increase the traffic. Social media icons in the footer of your Shopify store can increase the visibility of your social media profiles, making it easier for customers to find and follow you on different platforms.
4. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
5. Try to maintain the same image size while listing all products so that it will look good.

6. Add About Us page which is a reflection of the purpose and personality of the business.
7. Crafting an ideal SEO product title and URL can aid search engines in comprehending the nature of your merchandise and boost traffic to your website. Therefore, it's advisable to maintain a unique and specific product title and URL.

8. Add detailed filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
9. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
10. Use blogging
Blogging is a great technique to increase the traffic and ranking of your website. If you blog consistently with high-quality content over a long period, your site will rank higher for specific keywords or topics.

Hope this helps

Gina

If at all possible, put a video of your product in your banner. Once your customer lands on your site, they're going to look around for just a couple seconds. Your product sounds like it would lend itself perfectly to a video, and I bet conversions would be boosted.
