I have had my store for about 3 months now.  Have started automated ads on Facebook and Instagram, however, I get likes but no sales.

I would appreciate any feedback on my store www.checor.net.  Thank you!

Hi, Checor,

I had a look there is no consistent branding colors, there seems that the colors chosen aren't given me comfy and the design makes me think you sell tool boxes than frames and pillows. Find a branding template for your colors and fonts.

In some ways, over priced décor, I feel that you would have to have fancy furniture in the pictures on your home page to feel at a high price point. You want to make people feel fomo (if the jonses in their fancy house that is empty have cushions like this I should buy those). Have no people in those images because you selling people a dream, what they want their house to look like.

Have one price for the smallest size and then they can see that the pricing goes up for the bigger sizes, You need to sell bulk deals with offers, buy 3 get 10% off or these three for $289 for example. There is no price anchoring and some cheaper options to make your expensive look more attractive.

You should sell people on the story of the cushions, the cotton hand picked at dawn by highly attractive people... so on, if people think it's a one off you drive up the idea of scarcity, you could have even a waitlist on somethings for people to think there's only a 100... you are lucky!

Most of the time it's a phycological game and you have to realize that you are competing with luxury brands with your pricing so have a look around what do they do that's different? Nescafe gets us to fork out for pods every day, why?

Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Did you create your page alone or did you use a professional?  I am just thinking I may need help from a professional and wondered if you had a recommendation?  Thank you!

Hello,

I hope you are doing good and welcome to the Shopify Community!

I am San from MS Web Designer

Thank you for sharing your store URL. This allowed me to go through your site.

You have a beautiful website but some of the enhancing features can be added to give it impressive look.

Here are some recommendations:

Header:

1.Wishlist Missing

2.Social media Icon missing on the header.

                         You can follow this.

Homepage: (First Impression is the last impression)

The homepage is the first landing page your customers will see after opening the website. Yours is done beautifully.

1. Add Featured Products Section with add to cart option to increase conversion rates.

SAN_MSWEB_5-1713171169066.png

2.Featured Products / all Titles should be Optimized and Seo Friendly.

3.Add Meta Description for all Products.

4.Avoid such extra-large images on the homepage as it decreases the speed of the page and takes extra time in scrolling. Instead you can make it smaller and showcase more featured products.

5. Add a Lead magnet section on Home Page
6. If Possible, add Instagram Feed on Home page

7. Add Sticky Cart Icon on Home Page.

Collection and Product Page:
- Add Product Review on Collection Pages
- Add Sticky add to Cart and Buy now Button for quick checkout.

- Add Product Badges like New, 10% Off, You Save 20$ or Free Shipping by highlighting the offer.

Conversion rate optimization techniques:

-Introduce the discount coupons and various offers on purchases.

-Time reservation on cart page to get faster conversions.

-More upselling and cross selling on product and cart pages to increase average order value.

-Showcase social presence to gain the trust of the customers.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to contact us for any further help that you might require.

Best regards,

San.

Hi @Checor,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - Customer Support Helpdesk/FAQ App

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. Specify Shipping Deals

Specify the available shipping deals at the top of your homepage. Ensure that customers can easily identify the offers available to them without having to search extensively. Just saying "We have free shipping deals for you" might not capture your customers' attention.

Here is the section I mention about:

2. Navigation Menu

Organize your products in the navigation menu with clear hierarchy to help users find what they need quickly. Clear categories and subcategories streamline the browsing experience, saving customers from scrolling through long collection pages.

Here is an example for you:

3. Homepage

3.1 Hero Banner

The hero banner is a key element of your homepage, and it should effectively showcase your products. Use high-quality images or videos and clear messaging to grab attention and engage your audience, encouraging them to explore further. Currently, your videos aren't highlighting the products effectively.

You can follow this example

3.2. Products Collection Section

Create a section on your homepage to introduce your product lines. This will help customers quickly understand what you offer and find relevant items more easily.

Here is an example:

MooseDesk_4-1713189774313.png

3.3. Section Integration

Here are some sections I suggest you should combine them together since it serves the same purpose.

First, consider combining the 'Our Mission' section with the 'Crafted with Care, Just for You' section. These two sections can be consolidated under an 'About Us' section, introducing your store and brand to enhance credibility and build trust among users.

Secondly, consider combining the "Why Choose Us" and "Why Checor" sections, as they both highlight your product benefits and what sets you apart from your competitors.

3.4. Section Removal

Since you already have a section introducing your product lines, having a section for all of your products on the homepage is redundant and unnecessary. You should avoid overwhelming visitors with too much information and provide clear navigation paths to key sections of your website.

Here is the section I mention about:

3.5. Clear Image Descriptions

Images play a crucial role in conveying information about your products. Ensure that all images on your homepage are accompanied by clear descriptions. This will help customers understand your products better and make informed purchasing decisions.

Adding descriptions to this image is important, as it may confuse users who are unsure of its purpose.

3.6. Banner Relocation

Consider moving this banner right above the footer to make it serve as a secondary call-to-action (CTA). This adjustment will ensure that users are more likely to engage with the content before leaving the page, maximizing its impact on conversions.

Here is the banner I mention:

MooseDesk_7-1713190951406.png

4. Collection Page

4.1. Consistent Product Display

Maintain consistency in product display across your collection pages. Use the same format and display for all product images to create a professional and organized browsing experience.

Here are a few examples from your collection page. They display inconsistent product images, with some products featuring images smaller or bigger than others:

MooseDesk_9-1713191181424.png

5. Customer Support and FAQ Page

Implementing a contact support system and creating a FAQ page can provide customers with easy access to assistance and answers to commonly asked questions. This will help improve customer satisfaction and reduce any potential friction points during the shopping journey.

To address this, I recommend using MooseDesk, an app for creating unique FAQ pages for your customers. Besides helping you creating your FAQ page, we also provide a helpdesk/ticketing system for your customer support.

Great news, we also have Contact us template so you can customize your page too!
