I have 2 stores that I started a little over 7 months ago.  1 store has had 1 sale and the other zero.  I have done all types of marketing redesign of store seo etc but still cannot get traffic and sales in my stores.  I have been posting on social media   I am at a loss at this point as to what I am missing and where do I go from here.

Hey,

From what I understand, you are struggling to get visitors to your website. Don't spend time re-designing your store and focus on creating traffic channels for you first.

Here are a couple of exercises I do with my clients:

Think about:
1) Who is your ideal customer? Who would benefit the most from buying your products?
2) Where does that person hang out?
3) What is the best place to pitch to that person?

The first rule of running a shopify store is getting the right person to come to your website.

Once you can answer the other two questions, brainstorm all the traffic generating channels possible.

Divide them into long-term vs short term
Eg. SEO = Long-term results
Ads = Short term-results

Unfortunately, posting on social media is not enough unless you have a big enough audience. Consider this, how many people view your posts?

Hello @Fretfanatic,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.

I understand that it can be frustrating and discouraging when you're not seeing the desired traffic and sales on your Shopify stores despite your efforts. Building a successful online store requires a combination of various factors, and identifying the potential issues can help you strategize for improvement.

I have a few suggestions that may help.

1. Review your target audience and ensure that your products align with their needs and preferences. Consider whether you have accurately identified your target market and if your product offerings are appealing to them.

2. Assess the design and functionality of your stores. Ensure that your websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for mobile devices. Make sure the navigation is intuitive, the product descriptions are clear, and the checkout process is streamlined.

3. Take a closer look at your marketing efforts. Evaluate the effectiveness of your social media campaigns, paid advertising (if any), and search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. Consider experimenting with different marketing channels and tactics to reach your target audience effectively.

4. Consider starting a blog or regularly posting engaging content related to your products or industry. This can help drive organic traffic to your store and establish your brand as an authority in the field.

5. Partnering with influencers or affiliates who have a relevant audience can help increase your store's visibility. Look for influencers or affiliates who align with your brand and can help promote your products to their followers.

6. Encourage customers who have made purchases to leave reviews and testimonials on your website. Positive reviews can build trust and credibility, which can lead to increased conversions.

Remember that building a successful online store takes time, patience, and continuous optimization. It's essential to track your progress, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on the insights you gather. Stay persistent, adapt your strategies as needed, and keep experimenting to find the best approach for your specific business.

Hope you find this helpful

Hi  @Fretfanatic

I am Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing slow traffic or low sales can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I have some feedback for your Store and hope that they can help you increase sales.

1. Optimize Page Load Speed:
I noticed that you have invested quite a bit in the visuals and custom code to achieve the scrolling text effect on your store site. However, as a result, the load time of your website is quite slow when I open it.
PageFlyGarcia_0-1685063897193.pngMonitor and optimize the website's loading speed to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience. Compressing images, minifying CSS and JavaScript files, and leveraging browser caching are some techniques to improve page speed.

2. Make sure people can tell what you sell in 5 seconds

The text effect is one of the most outstanding features on the banner however, in 5 sec it is hard for customers to wait till the text runs out.

Moreover, include a clear and compelling call-to-action (CTA) that prompts users to take action.

3. Displaying a product list accompanied by clear CTA buttons

It is an effective way to provide customers with an overview of your products. Each product can be accompanied by a call-to-action button, simplifying the decision-making process for potential customers and facilitating their progression through the sales funnel by minimizing obstacles.

PageFlyGarcia_3-1685063897281.png4. Avoid different product media height:

It is important for maintaining a visually consistent and appealing product presentation. When product media, such as images or videos, have varying heights, it can create an unbalanced and disjointed look on your website.

By ensuring that all product media have the same height, you create a cohesive and harmonious visual experience for your customers, allowing them to focus on the products themselves without distractions. This promotes a professional and polished appearance, enhancing the overall impression of your products and brand.

5. Have a benefit section

Including a dedicated section highlighting the benefits of your products or services on the homepage can significantly impact consumer purchasing decisions by providing compelling reasons to choose your brand over competitors.

By strategically placing this benefit section, you can effectively engage visitors, minimize bounce rates, and ultimately increase the likelihood of conversions and sales.
