Why am I not getting sales on my website despite high traffic?

I need to ask you to review my website and tell me what's missing to get my first sales, because I've been getting payed visitors, 120+ a day for a month, but it's already been 8 days and no orders yet. I'd love to improve my website in any way possible if anyone wants to review it, please do so.

First, good job taking the time to set up multiple products on your store. It's great that you're taking the first step in online business.

You have a major opportunity to improve your store, but it's not as simple as making a few tweaks in your theme or copy.

But once you adopt the right mindset, it'll become much clearer what you need to do to make sales.

You should look at your Shopify store from the perspective of a potential customer.

Your site doesn't answer these crucial questions:

  • What problem does this product solve? Why should I care about "providing a relaxing atmosphere"? Focus on pain points.
  • Why should I trust this site? It's using the default Shopify theme, has 2 chat widgets stacked on top of each other, and can I trust these product reviews?
  • Let's take another look at these reviews - I don't see real people's faces, every review is 5 stars, and several don't make grammatical sense. Especially when you say you haven't gotten any orders yet, I don't understand how you have so many reviews on your products. If they're not real, then you should re-evaluate.

If your site doesn't speak your customers' language, and they can't trust you, they won't buy from you.

Hopefully this was helpful - reply with any questions you have, and I'd be glad to give more feedback on your store.

However, the most important feedback you can get will come from your actual customers, not us. I recommend adding a post purchase survey to your site before spending any more money on ads.

Hi @eco12 ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Congratulations on your store. It's pretty with this color panel, clear information, and high-quality images although it could benefit from a few enhancements to increase your chances of gaining sales. Allow me to provide you with some small suggestions that might help.

1. Consider adding a favicon to your site

You can follow Shopify's guide on how to do this. Having a favicon will make it easier for visitors to recognize and remember your website, encouraging them to return and shop more. Here is Shopify's guide: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon

2. Enhance your homepage with the following improvements:
2.1. Improve your hero banner and product lists:

Your homepage has 2 sections can consider as your hero banners, the first section, and the 2nd slideshow. You should use one of them and improve it. Visitors should be able to see a range of choices within a few seconds of landing on your homepage. This will help prevent them from leaving if they don't immediately find what they're looking for. Consider updating your hero banner and adding more product listings to provide a comprehensive overview of your offerings.

2.2. Classify your call-to-action (CTA) buttons

The primary CTA button on your homepage is vital for directing visitors to take action. Additionally, placing secondary CTA buttons beneath each product can increase the likelihood of customers adding items to their cart. With strategically placed buttons, you can guide customers to the pages where you want them to take action, such as collection pages or product pages.

2.3. Add a collection list or additional product lists

Offering a variety of choices to visitors on your homepage can help capture their attention and engage them. Consider including a collection list or additional product lists to showcase different categories or featured items.

2.4. Utilize reviews or social proof

Building trust with your customers is crucial for online shopping. Incorporating product ratings, customer reviews (including text and photos), or featuring trendy and favorite items can significantly enhance your store's credibility and reassure potential buyers about the quality of your products.

3. Clarify Delivery/Returns policies to the Footer

Including clear information about delivery and returns policies in your website's footer can instill trust in your customers. Communicating any warranties, guarantees, or a free delivery policy can positively influence their purchasing decisions.

I hope this will be helpful to you. In case you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know.
Good luck and have a nice day! Cheers!
