Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi guys,
I am currently running TikTok ads on my store flarequeens.com and I have received about 50 add to carts, 30 checkouts and 1 sale in the past 6 days.
What could be the reason that people are not getting past the checkout? This rate is statistically very unusual.
To make the statistics of my traffic since I started running ads clear:
- 11% Add To cart
- 7% Checkout
- 0.16% Conversions
Would be happy about any help
Please share the store URL, I will audit your store regarding SEO, UX/UI, and Store Speed Optimization.
Let's be straightforward: a 0.16% conversion rate is undoubtedly low and indicates that there are significant issues with the store's marketing and sales strategy. In today's hyper-competitive e-commerce landscape, businesses need to be creative and strategic to differentiate themselves from the thousands of other online stores selling similar products.
It's crucial to identify and highlight what makes your store unique and special. This could include factors such as outstanding customer service, unique product offerings, competitive pricing, and lightning-fast shipping. Merely selling the same products as everyone else on Aliexpress is not enough to stand out and succeed.
Hello @Flare_Queens,
Greetings from flareAI app - get free sales from Google! I am Gina, and I am here to help.
There could be several reasons why people are not completing the checkout process, even after adding items to their cart.
Here are a few potential reasons to consider:
1. High shipping costs
If your shipping costs are too high or not clearly communicated, it can discourage people from completing their purchases. Make sure your shipping rates are competitive and clearly communicated on your website.
2. Lengthy checkout process
If your checkout process is too long or complicated, it can lead to people abandoning their carts. Consider simplifying your checkout process by removing any unnecessary steps or fields.
3. Technical issues
It's possible that technical issues on your website could be causing people to abandon their carts. Make sure your website is running smoothly and free of any errors.
4. Payment options
If you only offer limited payment options, such as credit cards, it can deter people who prefer to pay with other methods. Consider offering additional payment options like PayPal or Apple Pay.
5. Lack of trust
If your website or business is not well-established or lacks credibility, it can make people hesitant to complete their purchase. Consider building trust with potential customers by including customer reviews, trust badges, and other forms of social proof.
It's also worth noting that a conversion rate of 0.16% is quite low. You may want to consider optimizing your ads, targeting, or website to improve your conversion rate and attract more qualified customers.
Let me know if you have any questions.
