Why are visitors leaving my online store quickly without making purchases?

Hey there,

I need some feedback. I’ve got people visiting my store through my TikTok and FB marketing campaigns. But they spend less than 20 secs on my store. I’ve got no sales as of yet. Can you guys please suggest any improvements or things I should change?

thanks in advance!

Hello @Mushi2528,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. Hope you are having a good day.

I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can increase sales.

1. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
2. Add more filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)
3. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
4. Run marketing campaigns. You can run marketing campaigns to reach new customers and promote your products. You can use social media, email marketing, or paid advertising to reach your target audience.
5. Providing discounts and promotions is an effective strategy for enticing new customers and motivating existing customers to make additional purchases. Various options are available, such as offering discounts on specific products, providing free shipping, or presenting gift cards.
6. Ensuring exceptional customer service is crucial for the success of any online store. It is vital to prioritize timely responses to customer inquiries and swiftly address any concerns or problems they may have, aiming for efficient resolutions.
7. Utilize social media platforms to promote your products and engage with your audience. Run targeted ads, collaborate with influencers, and create engaging content to drive traffic to your store.
8. Build an email list of customers and prospects and send regular newsletters, product updates, and exclusive offers. Personalize the emails based on customer preferences and behaviors to increase engagement.
9. Utilize analytics tools to track key metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior. Analyze the data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize your store's performance

Let me know if you require any further guidance.

Hey @Mushi2528.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have provided us with your online store URL. Did you happen to make any custom coding changes to the online store?

The reason I am asking is because when I attempted to navigate to your store - it took about a full minute to successfully load. With that being said, if a website takes longer than 5-7 seconds to successfully load, the majority of visitors will navigate away from the store.

We have a great help document that goes into depth about the factors you can and cannot control when it comes to improving your online store speed.

Looking forward to your response.
