Feedback for your online store from the community
Looking for guidance. We've noticed a concerning pattern at Good Vibes Thread Co where we're receiving a significant amount of traffic on our website, but it's not translating into sales. This raises a critical question: why are visitors not making purchases? It's imperative that we analyze our website's user experience, product presentation, pricing strategy, and checkout process to identify any potential roadblocks. By pinpointing the factors contributing to this issue, we can develop a strategy to improve our conversion rates and ultimately turn our website traffic into valuable sales, aligning with our mission to spread positivity through our products.
I am Garcia from the Shopify Advanced Page Builder App PageFly. Your store looks great, but I have some feedback on your page I'd like to offer you the following advice based on my experience as a CRO:
1. Emphasize the "Add to Cart" button
Right now, your "Add to Cart" button is not highlighted. To make your button and button text stand out more, you can experiment with adding color, hover, etc.
When a user visits a product details page, they are confronted with a range of content vying for their attention, such as banner ads, cross-sells, and product photographs and descriptions. If the primary "Add to Cart" button is overlooked in this sea of data, confusion and annoyance may occur.
2. Use Swatches to Indicate Color Variations
Using variant text dropdown causing the lack of visual representation can lead to user confusion or dissatisfaction if the received product doesn't match their expectations based on text alone:
Using Swatches to indicate color variations enhances the customer shopping experience by providing a visual representation of available color options, making it easier for shoppers to make informed choices. Secondly, it simplifies product selection and minimizes the risk of returns due to color discrepancies.
3. Include images have model wearing your products
It provides customers with a better understanding of how the items will look when worn, increasing their confidence in making a purchase. This visual representation also helps showcase the fit, style, and versatility of your products, making them more appealing to potential buyers.
4. Make use of the festive season.
During the upcoming holiday, like Thanksgiving or Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM), it is very popular to advertise clothing items like T-shirts and accessories. Here are some advertising concepts specific to these products:
I hope that by following these guidelines, you may increase brand recognition, website traffic, and sales throughout your upcoming marketing efforts.
Cheers!

Hi @Onlygoodvibes,
On the product page, the things that stand out to me are the add to cart button not standing out enough and the breadcrumbs looking a bit dated as they have the standard hyperlink colors, with some being purple and some blue. Changing the breadcrumbs to being black or another color and possibly removing the underline would fix this.
Hopefully that helps you get started! Another option is to install the Exit Poll app, which allows you to add an exit survey to your store and collect feedback from your customers about why they are leaving. It's quick and easy to set up and I can guide you through anything you need help with!
Best,
Rob
