Why can't I save changes on the product description page?

I cannot make changes in the product description page. When I change something, as soon as I hit save, everything old comes back.

 Hi @BlueBear 

This might due to some reasons, you can try these ways: 
1.  Clear cache: Sometimes, outdated cached data in your browser can cause issues.

2. Change browser: You can try to use Incognito browser  and other browser

3. As a temporary workaround, you could try duplicating the product and making changes to the duplicated version. 

In case you tried all ways round and the issue is still persist, contact Shopify support is the best way.

Just to gather some additional context, are you still experiencing this issue on your Shopify store? Did you happen to attempt any of the workarounds advised by @PageFly-Garcia?
 
The reason I ask this is so we can pinpoint if the issue is a local network error or server-related. I would suggest to make sure that you are saving your progress in the product editor as you make changes. You will not be able to see any changes on the website until the save button has been clicked.

I don't know what happened, I didn't change anything and the save button now works fine.
