Hi @purenglow,

This is Richard from PageFly Landing Page Builder. Happy to give you some feedback on your home based on my CRO experience.

1/ Reduce size of the header to make space for other parts on your homepage

PageFlyRichard_0-1680230443059.png

You have a quite big header that occupies much space on the website screen. This header is also sticky so it makes content on your site hard to see. A sticky header is a good idea but I suggest you choose another theme that offers a more suitable header (logo is put at the right, the navigation bar is in the center).

2/ Create sub-categories menu

I see you have some product categories (skincare, makeup,...). You should show them right on the navigation bar. Create a sub-categories menu under the “Product" menu item, so when visitors hover over that item, they can see and access product collections on your store. This also helps them to easily find the kind of product they want.

3/ Add color swatches

If your product has color variants, consider showing them inside your product details as color swatches. This engages visitors to explore more your product and helps increase the conversion rate.

4/ Add reviews/ testimonials

People love proof, especially when they visit a store and see many good reviews, they will be willing to shop! 71% of consumers stated that they trust the reviews and make up their minds faster thanks to good reviews. So you should add testimonials/product reviews to your store.

5/ Write some beauty blog posts on your website to drive traffic

Blog post is a great idea to drive organic traffic to your website. You can start with share skincare routine, makeup trends, tips,... Display your products inside the blog posts to crease sales.

6/ Use tools to track your visitor behavior

If you’re curious about what visitors do when they browse your website, you can consider using a user behavior analytic tool to track it. The tool helps you record the journey of a visitor when they visit your website. These are 2 tools you can try: Mouseflow, Martlook

Happy selling!

@purenglow

Welcome to the Shopify community.

Hope you are doing well. Here are a few suggestions.

Logo: You should need a proper logo to represent your brand. It should communicate your brand's message, values, and identity. It should be simple, distinctive, and memorable.

Logo Size: It’s important to note that your logo does not need to be exactly 410 pixels wide by 205px high.

Front Images: Use good quality featured and right dimension banner images with call-to-action buttons to captivate user attention. It should be resized images for mobile screens.

Homepage: Homepage designs guide your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on the homepage layout design.

Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided. You can add a ‘Call to action banner’ ‘New arrivals’, ‘Top selling products, Most popular collection, announcement bar, Today's deals, and offers, etc on the homepage to engage users.

Your store should be clear navigation. The store should have easy to access the shopping cart.

Add Blog: You know creating/adding blogs gives you a great way to generate fresh content on a website and provide a catalyst for email marketing, and social media promotion to drive search traffic to your website.

Blogs build trust with your customers and improve shopify SEO ranking. Blogs can boost sales.

Trust Signals: Show off trust signals and customer testimonials to boost conversion. Customer testimonials and trust Signals build customers' trust and help customers to feel more secure in their buying decision.

Improve SEO, links, usability, and performance score to increase conversion & sales (Your page could be better)

Check your store with the Page insight tool to get the score. because the low mobile score can kill the website traffic and lose revenue. optimizing a Shopify site for high page load speed is a major priority.

Compare your store with your competitors. Also compare your product price with others. Also check the shipping cost you are  offering.

Google Search Console :

Is your website exist on the search result page? (Your brand name). If yes then it's good to see, google is indexing and the user will reach you easily. Unless your store is completely invisible.

If you are not using the Google Search Console yet, set it up now. Google Search Console report will let you know if your pages are indexed or not at all. If none of your pages can be found by Google, then it may have an issue, as this means no organic traffic at all. And No traffic means no Conversion.

  • Find the Pages, Where You Lose the Most Customers. Convert More of the Shoppers Who Put Products in Their Carts. Check your store bounce rate.
  • Showcase How Popular Product Pages Are. Promote Offers With Push Notifications in the form of Popups or announcement bars. Optimize Your Product Pages.
  • Look at the difference between your New Visitors and your Returning Visitors. For most Shopify stores, your returning visitors will have a much higher conversion rate than your new visitors.

You need to focus on the following points........

  • Highlight product benefits clearly
  • Allow guest checkout.
  • Choose relevant keywords
  • Identify your target customers.
  • Use design to improve user experience.
  • Create Content That Converts
  • Mobile-friendliness
  • Check bounce rate regularly
  • Offer competitive prices
  • Send Relevant Emails
  • Make Use of First-time Offers

Hope these points will help you! We will share with you a free audit report of your store If you wish!

Hi there, @purenglow

Welcome to the Community! Definitely a great place to gather some input regarding anything about the platform! As you can already see, we have a great group of contributors always ready to provide some valuable insights about your store.

Please refer to the following for some feedback of my own upon visiting your online store:

  • I always recommend providing as much information as you can to your prospective customers so they are comfortable with completing their purchases in your store. This can include shipping information, return and refund policies, and an FAQ page. We have this great blog post that helps you out in creating this page for your customers.
  • Adding a blog post is also a great way to further market these products given the nature of them. I see your store benefiting in creating a blog where you can further expound on the benefits of using said products. Here is a help document that walks you through creating this for your store.
  • It also appears that you are using a Shopify-made theme. If so, please visit this link as it will go over 60 minutes of free design time that you may qualify for. This is a great and free benefit provided by our themes team.
  • I have also found some articles to help you during this initial phase of your business launch: How To Make Your First Ecommerce Sale and 21 Real Ways To Increase Website Traffic.

There is a lot of great information provided in this thread. I recommend going through each of them when you are able to and let us know how they work out for your store and we can definitely assist you more accordingly. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hey Purenglow,
It's Namit from One Day Design.
Google Ads is a double-edged sword. I understand your frustration.

First - The skincare industry is a tough break-in. People are resistant to change and it is tough to show the benefits of your product in the short-term.

Here are some recommendations to help with your brand positioning:

HomePage:

1) Headline & Copy - Your headline & copy needs to be more customer-centric. Talk about the benefits of using your product. Headline ideas - "Natural Beauty that will last longer" or "Healthy and Glowing Skin" . This is the first thing your customer will see. Moreover, this will have the biggest impact and is your low-hanging fruit.

2) Banner Size - As recommended in other comments, I would reduce the size of your banner

3) Social Proof! - Mention your reviews, how many people use your product, etc. somewhere close to the top. This will help "persuade" potential buyers about why your product is the best.

Other additions:
- Sub-Category
- Summarize features on product page
- Add swatches to showcase the color
- Talk about the natural ingredients of your products on the HomePage

We would be happy to design some mockups for you and do a full teardown! Let us know 🙂

We increase your sales without increasing your marketing budget
