Why is my online store getting lots of visitors but only one sale?

I have been running my store for almost 3 months and I’ve had one sale after spending tons on ads. Can someone please take a look at my store and give me some insights. I have promotions and discounts along with ratings and SEO is mostly done. The website is nexgenelevate.com.

Hello @NEXGEN32,

It is worth mentioning that your banner "Get 15% off your order" negatively affects your website's score. Google and other testing services recognize it as part of the content that delays loading the full page. It is better to show it later, as Google stops to "wait" after some time and then it wouldn't be taken into consideration.
Also, I suggest adjusting the template of the product page, for example here https://nexgenelevate.com/products/astronaut-phone-case. The template should be adjusted to have a smaller height of the image.
Use high-quality product images. Consider adding lifestyle product shots to further illustrate how your product will look in real life.

My team has huge experience in performance optimization. Please, get in touch if you need any assistance.

Reaching the right audience is essential. Otherwise, you are wasting money and time. Presenting your products to 50 interested people is more valuable than to 5000 with zero intention to buy. Find out exactly who your target audience is, and for example, which social media they frequent, and focus on that.

Hi Nexgen,

I think your overall store design is pretty clean. However, when it comes to the product cards themselves, I would work on getting more consistency with you product photos. This would give you store and brand more of a solid personality and also help convince those who just see dropshipped products.

Along with this, I guarantee you would benefit from having better and more concise product descriptions that entice your target consumer to make a purchase. With our free app Crowly, it's easy to A/B test descriptions to find one that converts well.

Below is a case study of one our first merchants who has seen an almost doubling in conversion rates through our automated optimization (all with less than 1000 view sessions).

Let me know if you're interested in testing out our plus plan and I can send over a credit for our app.

Good Luck!

Hi @NEXGEN32 , this is Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App. Your website is beautifully designed and elegant. It's clear that you've put a lot of thought and effort into creating a great online presence. From my experience, I noticed a few things that could be improved on your website.

1. Align and highlight product price

- Align the product price in a straight line

- Increase its visibility by using a large font size (similar in size to the product headline), bold text style, or eye-catching color.PageFlyGarcia_0-1711093424228.png

2. Add add to cart button to each product

An add-to-cart button is especially effective for visually-driven products that require little information to be bought. In these cases, an add-to-cart button allows people to quickly grab and checkout without being directed to many pages.

3. Add product reviews

Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online.

You can check this image for reference:

4. Add Contact form

You have the opportunity to learn more about your clients by using Contact form. After getting in touch with the customer, you might complete them on behalf of the client. You also have a more complete picture of the client as a result of the information gathered in this manner.

5. Mother's Day campaign

As Mother's Day draws near, and with many businesses already gearing up for the occasion, your products are perfectly suited for this holiday season. I highly recommend applying these tips to ensure you make the most of the celebrations.

  • Theme color: Opt for soft pastel colors such as light pink, lavender, mint green, and baby blue. These colors evoke feelings of love, tenderness, and warmth, which are perfect for celebrating mothers.
(Use Color contrast tool to check, here is an example https://coolors.co/contrast-checker
  • Curate a "Mom's Relaxation Kit" featuring luxurious spa essentials such as bath bombs, scented candles, and silk robes, equipments
  • Present exclusive promotions or discounts tailored for Mother's Day, prominently featured to attract shoppers seeking heartfelt gifts.

That's all of my feedback. Hope it helps to increase your conversion rate.

Cheers,

Garcia | PageFly team

The default search landing page is a bit off, I mean it's empty. You can show products on that page as well by simply updating the default search on the website with different search solutions. Other significant observations for store optimization are as follows:

  1. Put "Secured and trusted checkout with" in your footer.
  2. Make sure your social media pages open at the new tab instead of the same tab. This will ensure your customers stay on your website while looking at your social presence.
  3. Add an email address, if not a phone number, on the Contact page.
  4. Sticky header is recommended, as it makes it easy for the user to directly jump to the menu at any point of time while they are navigating through the Site.
  5. Finally, I would also recommend you to try Sparq product filters and search to replace the default search on your store, this app allows advanced custom tag product filters for collection pages, synonyms, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with the search are high-intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users. Check out the features live here.

I hope you find these suggestions helpful in enhancing your store's performance and providing an improved experience for your customers.
