Why is my online store's checkout not converting sessions?

Hi There,

 

I just launched my webshop 4 months ago. 
I noticed that my visitors reach checkout but their is no  session conversion.

I’m not sure if I missed a setting and there is something wrong with my check out.

would you be kind to check out my shop to see ?

You really did great .  If I may give som feedback. Adding some sections on your  webshop like , hoodies, t - shirts, others ( mugs& pillows) would make navigation easier for your customers.  Adding a section about you and your brand can also help building a brand / community.  Great job !

First of all, your site looks quite wonderful and well-made. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate: 

1. Connect Social Media. If you already have a growing Instagram / pinterest account, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts. 
2.  Adding more to your blog! Adding blog posts about weddings, tips, styling, and targeting the right audience can help bring traffic to your site and help with your site's overall SEO. 

3. Influencer / Wedding industry Collab. Since you have visually appealing products, it would be good to connect with micro-influencers, send them some of your pieces, and ask them to create some content for your social media as well as your Shopify store. 
4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Regarding your new store, congratulations! Although I think it looks fantastic, I have some suggestions that might help you increase your conversion rate (CRO).

 

1. Add testimonial reviews

Adding testimonials to your Shopify store can be a powerful way to boost sales and build trust with potential customers.

Also, it can increase conversions, testimonials act as social proof, showing potential customers that others have had positive experiences with your products or services. This can help to overcome purchase objections and nudge them closer to making a decision. Studies have shown that products with reviews convert 270% better than those without.

2. Boost contrast for Hero banner

Boost contrast to highlight the text, so that the customer can easily see your content.

Here are some ways to boost contrast for your Hero banner to make it more visually appealing and effective:

  • Use high-contrasting colors: This is the most basic and effective way to boost contrast. Use a light background with dark text or vice versa. For example, you could use a white background with black text or a black background with white text.
  • Use different fonts and sizes: Using different fonts and sizes can help to create hierarchy and visual interest. For example, you could use a large, bold font for your headline and a smaller, more subdued font for your body text.

3. Balance the text and images in section

This section in your store has a lot of text, and it may cause distraction for customers.

And remember, give both text and images space to breathe. Don't cram too much information or visuals into a single section.

4. Show your discount

It’s great that you have a 10% discount and Free shipping in your store, but I only know that after I came to the checkout process.

Show your discount to the Homepage, or announcement bar so that your customers can easily notice it. I’m sure that it can help you raise conversion rates.

And that's my perspective. However, to determine what works best for their specific audience and products,  you should consider best practices and conduct their own user testing. Prioritizing user experience is crucial for e-commerce success.
