Feedback for your online store from the community
My website is sdrdesignz.com and I have been wondering why I am getting views but no sales
Hello @Bri8
Traffic not always bring sales. You will need to identify your target audience. Traffic from these people are worth much more than random traffic.
Moreover, the most important factor for a buying decision is trust. You need to optimize your store design so it is more trustworthy and easy to navigate. Currently I can even see your store design is not completed yet. For example this product page
Hi there, @Bri8.
I can understand that it can feel disheartening, but please don't give up! All stores go through this difficult teething stage initially. Can you tell me what your current marketing plan looks like?
I would firstly like to echo what @ZenoPageBuilder has said in their reply - having an incomplete store will build distrust in your visitors and make them reluctant to complete checkout. Every page needs to be 100% complete to appear trustworthy.
As for building more sales - I have a guide here that will help you create a marketing plan that works. A piece of advice I'd also give you is to figure out EXACTLY who it is that you think your ideal target customer is; who are they? what age are they? Why would these products appeal to them & how are they currently going looking for these products? This podcast, 'Using Customer Profiles as a Filter for Making Better Business Decisions — Podcasts' gives you a brilliant example of how to approach this. Thank you!

Hello @Bri8,
Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can increase sales.
1. Add favicon to your store which is a small square image/logo that appears next to a web address. Favicon helps to strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. See shopify help here
2. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product. Even sometimes by reading reviews, customers may look to understand whether your product will suit their particular situation and make the decision to purchase the product.
3. Add a form in the Contact Us page for better customer interaction. Also display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
4. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. Testimonials allow your satisfied customers to step forward and address the questions and objections that fill the minds of your prospective buyers for you.
5. Add social media for the store to increase the traffic. By showcasing your social media profiles in the footer, you can raise awareness of your brand and increase your online presence, making it easier for customers to engage with you and share your content.
6. Crafting an ideal SEO product title and URL can aid search engines in comprehending the nature of your merchandise and boost traffic to your website. Therefore, it's advisable to maintain a unique and specific product title and URL.
7. Showing your average rating gives your shoppers quick information to make purchase decisions. Average ratings provide you with feedback on popular and unpopular products that you can use to make changes.
8. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
9. Use blogging
Blogging is a great technique to increase the traffic and ranking of your website. If you blog consistently with high-quality content over a long period, your site will rank higher for specific keywords or topics.
10. Add CTA button like Shop Now, Buy Now in the Home page header banner or slideshow
The Call To Action(CTA) is a key element on a webpage, acting as a signpost that lets the user know what to do next. Without a clear CTA, the user may not know the next steps to take to purchase a product or sign up for a newsletter and is likely to leave the site without accomplishing their task.
11. Add data policies (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Refund Policy) to your store which helps set expectations with your website visitors. They'll know the types of data you're collecting, why you're collecting, protects the seller from bad customers and ensures that buyers know exactly what to expect when they order a product.
12. Remove all theme placeholders from the product page
13. Remove Powered by Shopify from the footer and add your own branding to your store footer.
Hope this helps
Gina
Hi @Bri8
I am Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. After looking at your website, I have some feedback for your Store and hope that they can help you increase sales.
1. The Hero banner should have an outstanding CTA button
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.
With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. You can try to add a hover effect or animation for it to create more interaction with customers.
Since people respond positively to visual content, having a high-resolution image on your website is a good way to entice visitors to explore your site further. Your image now is a little bit blurry.
2. Show Product list with CTA buttons
Having a list of products is a great part which helps your customers to have general information about your products.
With each product, you can add a CTA button which makes it clear to potential customers which action to take next and helps remove friction in moving the user down the sales funnel.
3. Always highlight Core Products or Brand Features
Highlight brand features
To make your products more outstanding, you can show customers some more unique features about your clothes or accessories like what materials, how it is different from others’ stores, how you pack your products... I will take our template as an example.
Highlight Core Products
While it’s important to highlight key product features in order to entice users to explore the site further, the homepage shouldn’t become a “product page lite”, as including too much specific product information would overwhelm some users. Therefore, it’s important to focus on the 2–5 core product attributes that most users would be interested in.
4. Have a benefit section
By incorporating a benefit section within the middle of your homepage, you provide customers with a compelling incentive to choose your brand over competitors. This strategic placement not only decreases the bounce rate, but also enhances the probability of customers making a purchase.
If you feel my answer is helpful, like it or give it a thumb up. Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers!
