Why is my website not converting traffic into orders?

Hello everyone, my website has been open for several months and has some traffic, but very few orders. I use Dawn Theme and have made some modifications. I would like to know if it is because my website is not good enough that customers are not willing to place orders. I really look forward to any feedback or suggestions for improvements to my site. My site is webangstore.com. I sell shower drain product on my site. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your new store! I did take a deep look into your web design. I see your page is very beautiful and elegant. For the design improvements, I would recommend a few things below: 


1. Change copywriting for the CTA button

The first 5-second impression is really important. You should change the CTA button more catchy like “Shop Now", "Get Yours Today", "Discover Now", "Start Shopping", "Browse Our Collection", "Grab Your Favorites", "Unlock Deals" to encourage site visitors to take action.



2. Align the content

For a highly visual effect, align the heading/paragraph in straight lines. 



3. Add “Add to cart button" to each product

An add-to-cart button is especially effective for visually-driven products that require little information to be bought. In these cases, an add-to-cart button allows people to quickly grab and checkout without being directed to many pages.



4. Mobile optimization: 

Ensure your website is fully optimized for mobile devices, as an increasing number of users are accessing e-commerce sites through smartphones and tablets. 

You should display 1 product per row for the product list so customers can see it clearly.

I had a look around your store to see what feedback and help I can offer you here.


First I want to commend the work that you have done, I can see that a lot of time was put into it, and the website looks very professionally put together.


A few tweaks that I would suggest as opportunities:


  • In the footer of your website, you have Our mission - having it at the very end of the page makes it feel more like an afterthought, but the message is one that actually nicely reflects the goals of your business, and so it would help to dedicate a section to it higher up close to the header, so customers don't miss it.


  • At the very bottom of the page, you will also find the words Powered by Shopify. You have a nicely established brand for yourself already, so to fully tie it all together you could look into removing the Powered by Shopify by taking these steps here.


Regarding the traffic that you have been seeing, did you do some advertising to drive it, or did it come from other sources?


If this isn't something that you have done before, you can check out the integrations that we have with Google Ads and Facebook (Meta) Ads that will allow you to create and run campaigns straight from your Shopify admin. Below, I have courses on both:



Once you start running ads, you will see an increase in traffic - and potential sales may come out of this based on how this traffic is received.


I can see already that you offer Free shipping, which is a fantastic incentive to get people to go through with their purchase. You also offer a number of discounts already, which again, great idea for encouraging your customers to purchase.

I have checked the product page carefully, and it looks great. I only have the same comments as the homepage like align the content and adding “Add to cart button" to each product in "You may also like" section.
