I’m not sure what we’re doing wrong - so far we’ve had almost  800 people visit the store over the last week and we haven’t managed to sell a single thing - I’m not much of someone who knows how to code so I just used the auto website designer - is anyone able to check out our site and provide feedback please

Hey @NookandCushion

I understand your concerns regarding the lack of sales on your website, despite a significant number of visitors. I would be more than happy to provide you with some personalized feedback and recommendations to help improve your website and increase conversions.

First and foremost, I visited your website, nookandcushion.com, and analyzed its various aspects. Here are some key suggestions based on my observations:

  1. Design and User Experience:

    • Ensure that your website has a visually appealing and professional design. Consider using clean and modern templates that align with your brand image.
    • Optimize your website for mobile devices to ensure a seamless browsing experience for mobile users.
    • Streamline the navigation menu and ensure that it is intuitive, making it easy for visitors to find the information they need.
  2. Product Descriptions:

    • Enhance your product descriptions by providing detailed information about each product, including features, benefits, and unique selling points.
    • Use persuasive and engaging language to entice visitors and demonstrate the value your products offer.
    • Consider including customer reviews or testimonials on the product pages to build trust and social proof.
  3. Trust Signals and Social Proof:

    • Incorporate trust signals such as customer reviews, ratings, and testimonials throughout your website, especially on your homepage and product pages.
    • Showcase any industry certifications, awards, or partnerships that demonstrate the credibility and trustworthiness of your brand.
  4. Simplified Checkout Process:

    • Review your checkout process to ensure it is user-friendly and straightforward. Minimize the number of steps and required fields to reduce friction and cart abandonment.
    • Offer guest checkout options to make it easier for first-time customers to complete their purchases without creating an account.
  5. Marketing and Promotion:

    • Develop a targeted marketing strategy to drive relevant traffic to your website. Utilize social media platforms, email marketing, content marketing, and search engine optimization techniques to increase visibility and attract potential customers.
    • Consider running promotional campaigns, discounts, or referral programs to incentivize purchases and generate excitement around your brand.
  6. Analytics and Optimization:

    • Implement website analytics tools to track user behavior, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize your website accordingly. Monitor key metrics such as bounce rate, time on site, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.

I hope these recommendations will help you enhance your website and ultimately improve your sales performance. Remember, it's crucial to continuously evaluate and refine your strategies based on customer feedback and market trends.

Hi @NookandCushion I checked your website looks good and fast I didn't find any issues except below ones-

1. Add to Cart Button is missing on the product detail page it must be there as per user experience.

2. Product image gallery don't have slider feature so customer have to click one by one image it is bad practice.

3. Try to mention contact details on the contact us page and in the footer too.

4. Try to include blog section and Instagram gallery feed section to make a page with full of information so your bounce rate will decrease.

5. Mention menu links on the footer.

6. Integrate Google Analytics so you can trace the customer path and actual cause from where they left.

Thank you

Hi @NookandCushion ,

This is Amelia at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app

Congrats on your store! Your store looks stunning and professional, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Adjust ATC button

Maximize your homepage's impact with a powerful primary button. Direct customers to key destinations, such as collection or product pages, by incorporating a visually appealing color. Experiment with button texts like "Discover Now" or "Shop All" for a captivating call to action:

2. Adjust Product Details

  • Highlight the sale badge: Highlighting a sale badge on product images can boost click-through rates and drive purchases. This visual cue entices customers to explore discounted products, potentially leading to increased sales. It also encourages additional purchases when customers notice multiple items on sale.
  • Highlighting product title and price: To optimize clarity, consider increasing the visibility of product prices and titles. Utilize larger font sizes, bold text styles, and eye-catching colors. Ensure proper alignment of product prices for a seamless user experience.

3. Add favicon to your store

Including a favicon for your store adds uniqueness and aids easy recognition by customers. Set your store apart with this small yet impactful visual element.

4. Adjust Announcement Bar

Make your announcement bar impossible to miss, ensuring that customers readily notice and engage with important updates and information.

5. Add testimonial - customer reviews

Customer reviews serve as tangible evidence of product quality, fostering trust among shoppers. Enhance credibility by showcasing star ratings and textual/photo reviews, emphasizing the importance of reviews in online shopping.
