@Checkout Failed to Authorize Error & Technical Problem During Payment

Hi All,

I need help. My 2Checkout account was just verified and activated. I enabled it as my additional payment processor in Shopify but when a customer goes on through payment, an error "Failed to Authorize: Invalid Request" shows up. Do you know what I did wrong during the set-up?

Thank you.

Hi, Olivia!

Sure thing. Gateway processor detected that there is mismatch on my integration setting. So, they asked me to generate a secret code for buying and copy it on the ASN code. And use it to my Shopify setting.

Hey, @creativeme.

Welcome to Shopify Community. My name is Olivia and I work here.

I'd be glad to help answer your question today. I did quite a bit of research into this error for you, and I wasn't able to find out exactly what went wrong with your 2checkout set-up. I do have some basic troubleshooting steps I'd love to share with you here:

1. Verify the account credentials
2. Check for additional setup steps
3. Contact your payment gateway

I also found this 2checkout Merchant FAQ page I think might be helpful for you. If that still does not work, please contact 2checkout support and share your answer back here with us to help out future merchants!

If anything else comes up that I can support with on Shopify's end, don't hesitate to reach back out.

Warm regards,

Hey, @luciaamr29.

Welcome to Shopify Community and thank you for joining this thread.

2checkout is a third-party payment provider that some Shopify merchants use. If you have 2checkout connected in your Shopify store, this is something you would have had to intentionally set up. Can you please confirm what payment gateway you have connected under Settings > Payments?
