How to get the estimated delivery date using the Storefront API

Hi!

I'm working on an application and I'm using the Storefront API to get some checkout data. I need to get the estimated delivery date, but the API only provides its price.

When I'm working on a theme, I'm able to get both price and delivery date from shipping rates object using the JSON file provided by the cart page. How can I get this data using the Storefront API?
