Whitelisting IPs with stacked CDN

We are implementing a custom storefront / headless solution and are facing concerns with our implementation. Part of our solution includes a stacked CDN so many requests may be coming to shopify from a limited set of IP addresses. Is there a way to whitelist the IP addresses of our stacked CDN on the shopify side to ensure we don't get blocked?

I asked a related question in another thread regarding API rate limits, but is request rate limiting based on the client in X-Forwarded-For, or raw connection IP?
