Hi!

We would like to provide the merchant's existing General delivery profile options as shipping rates/methods available to subscription contracts of our selling plan group.
I don't understand why that wouldn't be available.

I'm getting a "A selling plan group cannot be associated with a merchant owned delivery profile." user error.

I also don't understand why "Only the cheapest shipping rate is available when a product is purchased as part of a subscription. Customers can't choose between multiple shipping rates."

I suppose this might be addressed when Pickup and local delivery methods are supported by the Subscription API, but what do we do in the meantime?

We currently have a limitation that only allow SellingPlanGroups to be associated with delivery profiles that have been created by an app. I would suggest to try and associate the selling plan group with a similar delivery profile created from a third party app (not from the merchant admin)

This is the current limitation we have in place since most subscriptions don’t require expedited shipping after the first order.

Thank you for your answer @jlalande,

However, we use different shipping rates to offer alternative shipping methods, like green/bike/pickup, for our subscription orders (not just expedited). So unfortunately, we're still stuck here.
