A merchant came to us with an urgent issue. They see charges in the Shopify Payments payout even though the related billing attempts ended up with an `INSUFFICIENT_INVENTORY` error code. No orders were placed for these charges. They showed us screens from the customer's bank account history and those charges are there too.
Can anyone shed some light on this new `INSUFFICIENT_INVENTORY` error code? Is something completely wrong with this new inventory checking feature or is it supposed to happen?
