Hello,

During updating subscription contracts, Shopify API returns the following error message:

Internal error. Looks like something went wrong on our end.\nRequest ID: 05914507-7b18-4c48-9549-46520e4001ba (include this in support requests).

Could you provide more details why we receive errors like this? Here are more IDs:

Hey @Anton999 ,

Do you have more recent requests ? I was trying to find out those requests but they are outside the retention period for our logs. Maybe something like a couple days ago perhaps ?

Alternatively, would you be able to create a new one and post here the id within a couple of days ?

Thanks!

Hey @Anton999 ,

thanks for your patience.

The issue seems to be that you want to update a contract with a local delivery, however this option is only available in a newer version of the API (2022-10) than the one you are requesting with (2022-07).

We should definitely not crash out though in those cases and return an error message.

We have logged a bug and are looking into it.

So the fix on your side would be to do this call using the 2022-10 or above versions.

Thanks!

Hello there

The error message "Internal error. Looks like something went wrong on our end. Request ID: 05914507-7b18-4c48-9549-46520e4001ba (include this in support requests)" typically indicates that an issue has occurred within the system or application, and the server is unable to complete the request.

The Request ID is a unique identifier assigned to the request by the server, which can be used to track and troubleshoot the specific error. This ID should be included in any support requests or communication with the technical support team to help them quickly identify and resolve the issue.

This message could be related to a variety of issues, such as a problem with the server, a database error, or an issue with the code or configuration of the application. It could also indicate that the website or application is experiencing high traffic or a temporary outage.
