Migrating existing subscription contracts from Braintree

Hi all,

July 5 2022 Shopify announces CustomerPaymentMethodRemoteInput, This field can be used to help you migrate Braintree subscription contracts to Shopify.

When I try to connect Braintree as the payment gateway, {shop}/admin/payments/legacy_subscription_braintree doesn't work. It keeps redirecting me with a Braintree sandbox Oauth client id.

Could anyone from Shopify help? I think it's a bug in this beta feature.

Thanks

Hello @Jiazhen

This is expected behaviour while the feature is in beta. We will shortly (within the next 2 weeks) be making the switch to use production credentials.

Thank you for the reply Matart.

If this is expected behaviour the dev documentation should state that. https://shopify.dev/apps/subscriptions/migrate/contracts#migrating-from-braintree is confusing because it makes people think we can connect with the production account.

Hi @matart ,

Has the change been made to production credentials? Is Braintree migration working now?

Thanks!
