PaymentSense / Subscriptions

Hi 

I am trying to understand whether PaymentSense, the payment processor (which is a partner of authorize.net) is an approved 3rd party/compatible with subscription payments? The only difference between PaymentSense and Authorize.net to my knowledge is the contracting entity as PaymentSense is a partner and uses the same technology. Authorize.net is only available to US/Canada and our business is in the UK.

Our business cannot use Shopify payments or Paypal Express so the only other option is 'Authorize.net '

Thank you for your patience while I looked for an answer to your inquiry. Unfortunately, PaymentSense is no longer a supported payment processor. Here is a list of payment gateways currently available to UK merchants: https://www.shopify.ca/payment-gateways/united-kingdom

May I ask why Shopify Payments or Paypal Express is not suitable for your business?

Thank you for the reply.

Some of the products contain CBD, so we have significant limitation when it comes to payment gateways but specifically in this case, a payment gateway that will support subscription payments on shopify.

We are not a new shopify customer and have been trading on the platform for over 2 years but we now want to offer product subscription to customers.

If you can provide any information or solutions on this point I’d be very grateful.

Thanks for the information, I understand your requirements better.

Unfortunately, there is no other payment gateway available in the UK at the moment that supports both our subscription API and the sale of regulated products.
