For discussing the development and integration of subscription-enabled shops using Shopify's Subscription APIs.
CRITICALLY URGENT.
We're seeing a LOT of errors today where Shopify checkout completely breaks, here's a screenshot.
This happens whenever a customer tries to checkout with a product that has a fixed selling plan, on any store that has Shop Pay enabled.
To reproduce, you can go to this page and use the Buy Now button while making sure the 30% deposit option is selected. Storefront access code is 'downpay'
Instead of being redirected to https://flexli-dev.myshopify.com/checkouts, the customer is redirected to https://shop.app/checkout, which then throws the error.
Interestingly, when doing this under incognito mode, the customer is taken to regular checkout and the issue doesn't happen. It seems like Shopify might know based on a cookie or something whether a customer has a Shop Pay account, and tries to take them there if they do.
Perhaps it's an issue with Shop Pay not supporting Fixed Selling Plans? In any case, this is obviously a huge issue and we're getting a tonne of complaints from many of our merchants. Customers literally cannot checkout, and it's costing them a lot of cales. Customers should not be getting redirected to the Shop App checkout if that checkout cannot support the cart they're trying to checkout with.
Please investigate ASAP. Thank you
