Hello!
1. I plan to open an online store in Poland, but I don't have a legal entity yet. Can I start setting up an online store without specifying the data of a legal entity, and before launching an online store, specify all the necessary legal data?
2. Is it possible to create an online store (register an account) on shopify, and then re-register the account (transfer the online store) to another person?
How to do it?
Thanks!

  • Yes, you can start setting up an online store on Shopify without specifying the data of a legal entity. Shopify allows you to create a store and start building your website before providing all the necessary legal information. However, it's important to note that once you are ready to launch your store and start selling, you will need to provide accurate and complete legal information, including the data of your legal entity, as required by the laws and regulations in Poland. This information is typically needed for taxation, business registration, and compliance purposes.

  • Yes, it is possible to transfer ownership of a Shopify store to another person. Here's how you can do it:

    a. The current store owner needs to log in to their Shopify account. b. From the Shopify admin dashboard, go to "Settings" and then "Plan and permissions." c. Under the "Account owner" section, click on "Add staff." d. Enter the email address of the person you want to transfer the store to and assign them the "Account owner" role. e. Save the changes and invite the new account owner by sending them an email. f. The new account owner should accept the invitation and create their own Shopify account if they don't have one already. g. Once the new account owner accepts the invitation and becomes the account owner, they will have full control and ownership of the store.

Thanks for the answer!
Tell me, if I am currently in another country, do I need to indicate the country where I am, and then change to Poland, or immediately indicate Poland, despite the fact that the site warns about the obligation to indicate exactly the country where I am currently?
What is the right thing to do, is it easy then to change the country to another?
