2 way sync shopping cart

I have my app (not even from shopify) with shopping cart and I want to sync my shopping cart (because client will redirect to my app and there choose some product that i want to display in shopping cart in Shopify) form Shopify with my shopping cart. How can I do this? I also read about API cart and API AJAX and API admin.

Has anybody found a solution for this? we have also facing the same problem for the past week. 

Shopify Team, can you help us on the same cart sync issue?
