Hi @LadySunflower Try the cheaper limited $5 starter plan to be able to poke around a backend admin.
Or if you work with a shopify partner such as for a setup service, they are able to create development stores that have feature limitations but do have unlimited trial time.
Some will do it in order to try and just earn revenue share if you start an actual paid plan.
Seek out some of the promotion links to be found online that give trials longer than the 14 days, or try the cheaper $5 starter plan.

Otherwise from time to time that have lengthier trials but that's rolling the dice for when and if that might happen again.
