Add a box for total number of pieces on the listing page

Some of the products I sell come in sets of 10, or packs of 250. I would like to create either just the text or a "box" beside the quantity selector that will multiply the quantity by the number in each set. For example, if someone purchases 6 packs of paper with 250 sheets in each pack, I would like it to show that the total number of sheets is 1,500.

Yes, this can be done with custom code in your theme based on product template. We did similar calculation work for few stores we called it sell in pack, request you to refer the video.
